IISER Bhopal Ph.D. Admissions 2010-11

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhopal has announced Admission Notification 2010-11 for Ph.D. in Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Physical Sciences and Mathematical Sciences. Financial aid in the form of Assistantship / scholarship will be provided for selected candidates into Ph.D. programme as per rule. The applicants should have M. Sc. Degree in concerned areas or allied subjects with 55 percent marks. They also need a valid GATE/ UGC/ CSIR/ JEST/ ICMR/ DBT/ NBHM score card. The class work will commence from December 27, 2010.

Interested candidates can download application forms from IISER website www.iiserbhopal.ac.in . You can also obtain application free of cost from Assistant Registrar (Academic), IISER Bhopal, ITI (Gas Rahat) Building, Govindpura, Bhopal -462 023 by hand or by post through sending a request for the application. Filled in forms must carry Letter of Reference in sealed envelopes by the referees. You should apply separately for each programme if interested in more than one program.

Applications should be sent along with a fee of Rs. 200 (For General/ OBC) and Rs.100/- (For SC/ ST/ PH) by a Demand Draft favoring Director, IISER Bhopal, payable at Bhopal. Last date for Receipt of filled in application is October 20, 2010.
