JNTU Anantapur-M.Tech, M.Pharm Spot Counseling- December 2010

JNT University- Anantapur (JNTUA) is conducting spot admissions through counseling on 13th December 2010 at 10-30 AM for M.Tech. and M.Pharmacy courses for the convener and sponsored seats left vacant after PGECET counseling. Following are number of available seats in various specialisations of M.Tech and M.Pharmacy in Convener and Sponsored / Self Finance Categories. Candidates interested in other specialisations which are not mentioned below also can attend for spot admissions. If sufficient number of candidates are there, the university shall take the students in those specialisations also.

1. Computer Aided Structural Engineering: 12 + 7 (Convener + Sponsored)
2. Water Resources Engineering: 15 + 7
3. Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning: 1+2
4. Energy Systems: 15 + 7
5. Chemical Engineering: 15+7
6. Product Design: 0+7
7. Advanced Internal Combustion Engines: 0+7
8. Reliability Engineering 15+7

JNTUA College of Engineering, Pulivendula:

1. Electrical Power Systems: 0+6
2. CAD/CAM : 4+7
3. Digital Electronics and Communication Systems: 3+6
4. Computer Science and Engineering: 2+7

At JNTUA OTRI, Anantapur. M.Pharm-Pharmaceutical Chemistry: 12+7

Eligibility for the spot admissions is as like for qualification required for PGECET 2010. You should have B.E./ B.Tech. or its equivalent in concerned branch and B.Pharm for M.Pharm course. Tution fee for Convener seats per semester in M.Tech is Rs. 15000 and for sponsored seats is Rs. 57000. For M.Pharm seats it is Rs. 45000 and Rs. 110000 respectively for convener and sponsored / self financed seats.

Selection will be done based on the following priority at spot admissions:

1. Valid GATE / GPAT Score
2. Rank in PGECET– 2010 in the relevant stream
3. Marks obtained in the qualifying examination with a minimum of 50 percent.

Interested candidates have to apply in the prescribed format available on the JNTUA website. You can download the form from website. Filled form should be submitted at Rector's Office on 13th December 2010 along with a DD of Rs. 1000 towards registration fee drawn in favour of 'The Registrar, JNTU Anantapur' and payable at Anantapur.
