Satavahana University M.Sc. Food Science and Technology Admissions 2011-12

Office of the Principal, University College, Satavahana University, Karimnagar has announced notification for admission into M.Sc. Food Science and Technology for the academic year 2011-12. The duration of the course is 2 years. The course will cover major disciplines such as Food Technology, Food Processing and Engineering, Food Microbiology, Food Chemistry, Food Toxicology, Food Business Management, Food Biotechnology and Project work. The University will conduct an entrance test for short listing the candidates.

Eligibility: Applicants should have passed in any of these examinations: B.Tech. (Food Technology, Food Science and Technology, Food Science, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology), B.V.Sc., B.Sc. (Agriculture, Horticulture, Food Technology, Food Science, Food Science and Nutrition, Food and Nutrition, Biotechnology, Home Science), B.Sc. with Chemistry as one of the subjects. Entrance Test will consist of 100 multiple choice questions with a time duration of 120 minutes.

Candidates can obtain applications from Office of the Principal, Satavahana University, Karimnagar OR University College, Left Flank of LMD, Karimnagar on payment of Rs. 50. Filled in application forms along with a DD of Rs. 200 towards Entrance Test fee, and two self addressed stamped envelopes may be sent to The Principal, University College, Satavahana University, Left Flank of LMD, Karimnagar 505001 (A.P.). Those downloaded the application form from the University’s website have to attach a DD for Rs. 250 towards Entrance Test fee.
