SPMVV - Padmavathi Womens University Distance Education Admissions 2011-12

Distance Education Centre, Sri Padmavathi Mahila Visvavidyalayam (Women's University), Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh has announced admission notification 2011-12 for entry into various Post Graduate, PG Diploma, Degree and Diploma Courses. Women candidates only eligible for all the courses offered by SPMVV, Tirupati. Applications are also invited for B.Ed., and B.Ed. Additional Methodology for the year 2011-13 from in-service teachers working in Andhra Pradesh. All the programmes will be offered in distance mode. Following are details of programmes, eligibility, course duration and fee information along with application procedure:

1) M.Sc. Mathematics: Duration is 2 years; Fee is 6000/- per annum; Eligibility: B.A. / B.Sc. with Mathematics:

2) M.Sc. Zoology: Duration is two years; Fee is Rs. 9500 per annum; Eligibility: B.Sc. with Zoology as one of the subjects in Part – II and 50 percent Marks in Zoology and 50 percent of marks on Aggregate.

3) M.A. Women’s Studies: Duration is 2 years; Fee is 6000/- per annum; Eligibility: Any Graduate
4) M.A. English: Duration is 2 years; Fee is 6000/- per annum; Eligibility: Any Graduate
5) M.A. Telugu Language, Literature and Translation: Duration is 2 years; Fee is Rs. 6000/- per annum; Eligibility: Any Graduate in Telugu

6) M.A. Music: Duration is 2 years; Fee is Rs. 9000/- per annum; Eligibility: Bachelor’s Degree in Music / Bachelor’s Degree with Diploma in Music / Certificate Course in Music or ‘B’ Grade in Classical Karnatik.

7) LL.M. Two Branches 1. Constitutional Law and Administrative Law 2. Criminology and Torts: Duration is 3 Years; Fee is Rs. 6000/- per annum; Eligibility: A pass in LL.B.

8) B.Ed: Duration is 2 years; Fee is 15,000/- per course; Eligibility: Graduate in B.A., B.Sc., B.Com. and at least two years teaching experience in any recognised school.

9) P.G. Diploma in Family and Health Counseling: Duration is 1 year; Fee is Rs. 3000/- per course; Eligibility: Any Graduate

10) P.G. Diploma in Pre-School Education: Duration is 1 year; Fee is Rs. 3000/- per annum; Eligibility: Any Graduate with minimum 45 percent marks.

11) P.G. Diploma in Public Relations: Duration is 1 year; Fee is Rs. 3000/- per annum; Eligibility: Any Graduate with minimum 45 percent marks

12) B.Ed. Additional Methodology: Duration is 6 months; Fee is 6000/- per course; Eligibility: A pass in B.Ed. Degree

13) Diploma in Music: Duration is 2 years; Fee is Rs. 3000/- per annum; Eligibility: S.S.C. with basic knowledge in Music
