TISS Mumbai Admissions 2012-14 for M.A, M.Sc

Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), a prestigious deemed university in Mumbai has issued admission notification 2012-14 for various post graduate programmes. TISS is one of the prestigious education institutions for Social Sciences in India. TISS Admission Notification for 2012-14 academic session has been announced and following are particulars of courses:

1. M.A. Programmes: Social Work in Disability Studies and Action / Counseling/ Social Work / Globalisation and Labour / Human Resources Management and Labour Relations / Social Entrepreneurship / Media and Cultural Studies/ Development Studies/ Education (Elementary)/ Women’s Studies/ Social Work in Rural Development.
2. Master of Health Administration
3. Master of Hospital Administration
4. Master of Public Health in Health Policy, Economics and Finance
5. Master of Public Health in Social Epidemiology
6. M.A. / M.Sc. Programmes: Habitat Policy and Practice / Disaster Management

Eligibility Requirements: Applicants should have Bachelor's Degree in concerned discipline. Those candidates appearing for final year examinations in the relevant subject can also apply for all the programs except programmes offered by School of Health Systems Studies. These details along with number of seats, fee particulars and entrance pattern and model questions for various programmes are available on TISS website www.tiss.edu . Selection of the candidates to all the post graduate programs will be based on performance in written test, group discussion (for some programs) and personal interview. Written Test contains two parts. Part -1: Common Objective Multiple Choice Test with questions from 1. General awareness / knowledge, 2. Analytical / logical reasoning and quantitative ability and 3. Verbal reasoning. Part-2 is related to programs selected by the applicants.

Candidates have to apply online only through E-application available on the Institute's website www.tiss.edu. Offline application process also accepted in the prescribed format.
