Hyderabad Central University Distance Notification 2012

University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad is one of the most reputed universities in the country. Popularly known as HCU (Hyderabad Central University), the university offer excellent learning and research environment for all types of courses. HCU is offering various PG Diploma programmes through distance education mode for the year 2012-13. HCU conducts contact classes with highly experienced faculty and industry professionals from concerned area of specialisation. The HCU announces admission notification for distance mode courses during December 2011. Center of Distance Education, an exclusive center of the university offer these programmes. Duration of the programme is one year. Admission to distance PG Diploma courses will be based on merit in the qualifying examination. There is no entrance examination for any distance programme. List of Programmes: 1) Communicative English 2) Medicinal Botany 3) Criminal Justice and Forensic Science 4) Business Management 5) Library Automation and Networking 6) Chemical Analysis and Quality Management 7) Mass communication and translation techniques in Telugu 8) Energy Management 9) Cyber Laws and Intellectual Property Rights 10) Translation Studies in Hindi 11) Project Management 12) PG Diploma in Human Rights (PGDHR) 13) Computer Application in Indian Languages 14) Tele- Communications and 15) Governance. Eligibility for all the programmes in graduation in any discipline. For programmes in Library Automation, Chemical Analysis and Quality Management and Telecommunications, applicants should have studied Library Science, Chemistry, Maths / Physics/ Electronics respectively at the graduation level.

All of these programmes are targeted at in service personnel looking forward to improve their skills, qualifications and knowledge to go up in their careers. Fresh graduate can improve thier job chances on successful completion of these programmes. The list of programmes is indicative only. There may be some additions and deletions depending on the number of candidates in a particular programme. Downloaded application forms should be enclosed with cost of application and registration fee of Rs. 300 in the form of DD for prescribed amount drawn in favour of 'Finance Officer, University of Hyderabad. Completed forms in all respects should reach 'Assistant Registrar, CDE Golden Threshold, Abids, Nampally Station Road, Hyderabad- 500001. Last date for submission of completed applications is 31st January 2012.
