PGECET 2012 Results on 23rd June for M.Tech

The Convener of PGECET 2012 (Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test) Prof. Venugopal Reddy has informed that the results of the entrance examination will be announced on 23rd June 2012. PGECET is an entrance exam conducted for admission to M.Tech / ME / M.Pharmacy courses in Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2012. Candidates can obtain results from www.appgecet.org or appgecet.nic.in . The Osmania University is organizing the PGECET admissions.

PGECET is conducted for admission to Masters Programmes in Engineering, Technology and Pharmacy in 16 subjects. The disciplines offered are Civil, Mechanical, Electronics and Communication, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics, Metallurgy, Instrumentation, Pharmacy etc. The counseling details also may be released along with results on 23rd June 2012.

It is estimated that about 64300 candidates were appeared for the PGECET 2012 examination. Total candidates applied for the examination are 71000. Most of the Engineering Colleges in the state are offering M.Tech programmes. Candidates should prefer reputed colleges that offer quality teaching and good placements. The list of colleges and various courses offered by them may be displayed on www.appgecet.org at the time of counseling.
