MBBS Management Quota Admissions - High Court Guidelines

The Andhra Pradesh High Court has ordered the Government authorities to conduct MBBS admissions under management quota in a transparent procedure. The High Court has issued orders to the colleges on 17th July 2012 to fill MBBS seats based on the marks secured by the students in Intermediate. The court also reminded the colleges to follow the guidelines issued earlier by the court. According to the Court guidelines, the colleges have to follow these guidelines while conducting admissions to MBBS course:

Private Medical Colleges will have to issue advertisements in a English and a vernacular daily inviting applications from the eligible candidates for the MBBS seats available under Management Quota. This procedure has to be started after the completion of filling up of seats under A and B Categories. The admission advertisement should be displayed on the website of Dr. NTR Health University and Department of Medical Education.

Applications should be made available for download from the website. Email application facility also should be provided to the candidates. If the candidates have raised objections on the admission process, concerned authorities have to respond to the same within 7 days.
