No Quarterly Exams for 10th Class in Telangana from 2015-16

The Department of School Education, Government of Telangana has decided to do away with the quarterly examination system in 10th Class / SSC class. The Telangana government has been proposed several reforms in school education. With the removal / cancellation of Quarterly Exams in 10th Class, there will be only half - yearly and annual examinations.

Apart from half yearly and annual exams, there will be SA 1 and SA 2. There is no change in 4 formative assessments for 10th Class students. The Telangana school education department has released new academic calender 2015-16.

The timings of high schools also have been changed in Telangana. The schools will start from 9-30 AM from the year 2015-16. There is no change in timings of primary and upper primary schools. All the Government, aided and private schools in Telangana have to follow changed timings and exam schedules.
