AP New Guidelines of Fee Reimbursement and Scholarship Schemes 2015-16

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has proposed new guidelines for the grant of scholarships and fee reimbursement scheme from the academic year 2015-16. The students should have at least 75 percent attendance in order to be eligible for fee reimbursement and scholarship schemes.

The fee reimbursement will be applicable for only one course in any campus. Second PG courses will not be considered for fee reimbursement scheme.

The AP government also proposed to contain political activism in university campuses in Andhra Pradesh in the wake of recent incidents in Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur.

The Government is in favour of naming the proposed IIIT at Ongole in memory of former President of India, APJ Abdul Kalam. The merit scholarships also will be given for the meritorious candidates.
