Indian Maritime University (IMU), Visakhapatnam has issued notification inviting applications for B Tech (Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering) program for academic year 2017-2018 through lateral entry scheme (admission into 2nd year).
Age Limit:
Minimum age - 18 years
Maximum age - 26 years.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have a Diploma in Ship Building Engineering from Institute of Ship Building Technology (ISBT), Goa with at least 60 percent marks overall and should have completed the diploma within the stipulated period 4 years.
OR
They should have a Diploma in Mechanical/ Civil Engineering/ Marine Engineering from any institute approved by AICTE with at least 60% marks overall and should have completed the diploma within the stipulated period of 3 years.
OR
Need 3 year Diploma in Naval Architecture and Offshore Offshore Engineering from the AMET University, Chennai with at least 60% marks overall and should have completed the diploma within the stipulated period of 3 years.
Application Procedure:
Candidates should download the application form from IMU website, submit the same along with self-attested copies of certificates and mark sheets by post so as to reach the following address on or before 01/07/2017.
