Tuition Fee in Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology for 2017-18

Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology has issued notification declaring tuition fee for B.Tech courses for the academic year 2017-18.

The Telangana Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee has recommended to fix the tuition fee for SNIST at Rs. 97000 for B.Tech courses for the block period 2016-17 to 2018-19.

It has fixed the tuition fee per student at Rs. 1,37,000 per annum. Candidates who intend to opt and join in B.Tech courses at Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology through counselling by the Convener TS EAMCET 2017 for the current academic year are advised to take note of the tuition fee of Rs. 1,37,000 per annum.

AP Engineering Colleges New Fee Structure for 2016-17

Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has approved the new fee structure for various engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The new fee in private colleges ranges from Rs. 35000 to 1.8 lakhs. There are 4 colleges which have more than 1 lakh fee per annum.

There are only 60 colleges with a fee structure of Rs. 35000. The fee of engineering and other professional courses will have to be revised per every three years.

The Government of Telangana has booked cheating cases against 16 engineering colleges in the state for duping the parents and students. The JNTU Hyderabad has lodged complaints against these colleges and the investigation is initiated by the police. There are 10 colleges from Hyderabad, 4 from Nalgonda and one each from Khammam and Warangal districts.

Engineering Colleges in Telangana For Sale - 2014

About 13 engineering colleges in Telangana State, mostly in and around Hyderabad and Rangareddy districts have applied for closure and get ready for sale this year. The Engineering Colleges Managements Association has predicted that about 70000 seats in the region may not be filled. The main reason for this would be the row over fee reimbursement scheme in Telangana.

The hostile situation between both AP and Telangana states is likely to exert negative impact on engineering admissions in Telangana this year. As per the Managements of Engineering Colleges Association, about 82 colleges around Hyderabad are going to face dearth of students this year.

It is also estimated that about 20000 students have already gone to neighboring states. The Telangana governments decision on fee reimbursement (parents nativity as criteria for local and non local status) and proposed pre 1956 residential status will impact the engineering colleges dearly.

New JNTU Engineering College at Kalikiri from 2013-14

Here comes another JNTU Engineering College in Andhra Pradesh. The Govt. of AP has proposed to start a new JNTU Engineering College at Kalikiri, Chittoor district. The college will start functioning from the academic year 2013-14.

The JNTU Anantapur will be facilitator for the new JNTU College. The Govt. has already granted Rs.198.67 crores for the establishment of the college. The APSCHE has issued orders to take up the project by JNTU Anantapur.

Kalikiri comes under the purview of Assembly Constituency of Chief Minister of AP, N. Kiran Kumar Reddy. The new JNTU Kalikiri will start B.Tech Courses in 4 subjects initially and will be expanded in a phased manner.

The new courses to be started from 2013-14 are B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electrical and Computer Science Engineering. B.Tech Food Science will be started from the academic year 2014-15.

The Government has allotted 30 acre land for the new JNTU College. It is situated at Kalikiri and Reddivaripalle villages and presently with APIIC.
