Osmania Launches Indian Journal of Social Sciences Research

Osmania University (OU, Hyderabad) has released the first quarterly journal 'Indian Journal of Social Sciences Research' on Monday, 14th February 2012. The journal is edited by Kankata Rajaram, Assistant Professor at Telangana University. Challamala Venkateswarlu is the executive editor of the journal. This is said to be the first of its kind journal from a University in Andhra Pradesh.

The Vice Chancellor of the OU has appreciated the efforts of the faculty members in bringing out the journal consisting of peer reviewed articles written by professors and research scholars of various universities. Osmania University has Department of Political Science and Public Administration under the purview of Faculty of Social Sciences.The OU is offering Post Graduate and research programmes like M.Phil and Ph.D. in Political Science. Research Scholars of the department can use this journal for publishing their research articles.
