Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has approved the new fee structure for various engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The new fee in private colleges ranges from Rs. 35000 to 1.8 lakhs. There are 4 colleges which have more than 1 lakh fee per annum.

AP Open School 10th Class and Intermediate Results - 2016
Andhra Pradesh Open School Society (APOSS) has released the results of 10th Class and Intermediate final examinations 2016. The results have been announced by the minister Ganta Srinivasa rao.
In Intermediate, 56151 candidates were appeared for the examinations. Out of these, 63.86 percent of candidates (35859) were declared qualified in the examinations.
In 10th Class / SSC, 49996 candidates were attended for the examinations. Out of these, 61.43 percent (30713) of the candidates were declared qualified in the examinations.
Visakhapatnam district stood on top in the 10th class examinations and Krishna district is in last position in APOSS 10th class examinations. Results can be accessed through APOSS website at www.apopenschool.org

Telangana EAMCET 2016 Marks, Ranks and Weightage
The Telangana EAMCET 2016 results will be announced on 26th May 2016. The results with marks and ranks will be available on the websites www.tseamcet.in, eenadu.net, sakshi.com, sakshieducation.com, eenadupratibha.net and various other portals.
The results will be announced at 11 AM by the authorities concerned. Ranks will be allotted to the candidates with due weightage of 25 percent for Intermediate marks and 75 percent weightage to EAMCET marks.
Candidates who secure at least 25 percent marks (40 out of 160) will be declared as qualified in the EAMCET examination. ST, SC candidates do not have any minimum marks criteria.
Candidates from General category should secure at least 45 percent marks in Intermediate, while SC and ST students should get minimum 40 percent marks in Intermediate to be eligible to allot EAMCET ranks.

The Government of Telangana will be conducting TS EAMCET - 2 (Second test) for admission into medical and dental courses for the academic year 2016-17. The decision has been taken in the wake of ordinance to
be issued by the Central Government postponing NEET for an year.
It has been decided by the Government of Telangana to conduct MBBS and BDS admissions through TS EAMCET - 2. The date of the new examination will be decided on 23rd May 2016.
The ranks achieved in previous TS EAMCET will be considered for admission into Unani, Ayush and other allied health science courses. MBBS and BDS seats will be filled with TS EAMCET - 2 exam to be
conducted in June first week of 2016.

The Government of Telangana will be conducting TS EAMCET - 2 (Second test) for admission into medical and dental courses for the academic year 2016-17. The decision has been taken in the wake of ordinance to
be issued by the Central Government postponing NEET for an year.
It has been decided by the Government of Telangana to conduct MBBS and BDS admissions through TS EAMCET - 2. The date of the new examination will be decided on 23rd May 2016.
The ranks achieved in previous TS EAMCET will be considered for admission into Unani, Ayush and other allied health science courses. MBBS and BDS seats will be filled with TS EAMCET - 2 exam to be
conducted in June first week of 2016.

Telangana Private MEDCET 2016 Cancelled by Medical Colleges Association
Telangana Private Medical and Dental Colleges Association has informed that the entrance examination meant for admission into B Category (Management seats) has been cancelled in the wake of NEET 2016 guidelines.
The Supreme Court of India has ordered all the states and central government to conduct medical and dental admissions through NEET 2016 examination only. No other admission tests will be allowed by the Supreme Court.
The private medical and dental colleges in Telangana and AP are conducting separate entrance test for management quota seats from the last year.
The private colleges managements have informed that the exam stands cancelled and the fee will be returned to the candidates. The EAMCET Medical exam also has been cancelled by the Telangana Government.

The Government of Telangana has released the Polycet 2016 Counseling schedule (First Phase) for admission into various polytechnic courses for the academic year 2016-17. The certificate verification will be done between 20-28 May 2016 and seat allotments will be completed on 1st June 2016.

98 percent of the candidates have attended for the TS ECET 2016 held on 12th May 2016. The exam was held at 54 centers across Telangana State.
26410 candidates were appeared for the TS ECET examination. 6699 candidates were appeared for EEE branch, 6473 for mechanical engineering and only one candidate for Biotechnology branch were appeared for the exam.

Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University (JNAFAU),
