Directorate of Admissions, Osmania University (OU) has released notification for 1st phase certificate verification of OUCET 2017. Certificate verification for the qualified candidates for admission into various PG courses in different colleges for the academic year 2017-18 through web based allotment will be conducted from 26th July 2017.
The PH quota admissions will be held from 2nd August 2017. The NIQ and CAP admissions will be held on 3rd August 2017. Further NCC / NSS / Sports Quota certificate verification and admissions will commence from 5th August 2017.
The candidates are advised to visit the websites osmania.ac.in and ouadmissions.com for subject wise and category wise schedule in detail.
Candidates should note that the certificate verification is only for those candidates who are provisionally allotted an admission through web based allotment process. Without attend the certificate verification, the candidate's admission into a course will not be entertained and his / her allotment will be deemed to be cancelled.

TS Government to fill all 3250 MBBS seats in Telangana Medical Colleges - 2017
The Government of Telangana has taken a dey decision regarding medical admissions in the state. The Government will fill all the MBBS seats in Government, Private and Minority colleges in the state.
Counseling Notification on 7th July:
Admission to all categories of seats (A / B / C Categories) will be based on ranks in NEET 2017. The Government has also cut 10 percent convener quota seats in minority medical colleges. The Government has already issued orders and the admission notification will be released on 7th July 2017.
Online Applications from 9th July:
The Government will invited online applications for medical admissions from 9th July 2017. Certificate verification will be conducted after 10 days. First phase of admissions will be completed by the end of July 2017.
There is no change is fee structure for A, B and C categories of seats as the fee has been hiked last year. But the conversion of 10 percent convener seats into management quota in minority colleges will be a disappointing decision for the aspirants.

Telangana SSC Supplementary Exams Results - 2017
The Department of School Education, Government of Telangana will announce the results of 10th Class Supplementary examinations on 6th or 7th July 2017 (Thursday or Friday).
The Government of Telangana has conducted SSC supplementary examinations in April 2017 for those failed in the regular examinations held in February / March 2017.
The Government has also informed that the second phase counseling of TS Polycet 2017 will be held after 10th July 2017. Candidates those secured / are not secured seats in the first phase Polycet counseling may appear for this phase.

Telangana ECET 2017 Seat Allotments on 7th July
Seat allotments for TS ECET 2017 counseling will be announced on 7th July 2017. The seats will be allotted online through TS ECET website on 7th July at 8 PM. The web option entry schedule has been completed recently.
About 22000 candidates have qualified in Telangana ECET 2017. Out of these, only 14222 candidates have participated in web counseling by entering web options.

KC Mahindra Scholarships for Polytechnic Students 2017-18
KC Mahindra Education Trust has released notification for the selection of the candidates for All India Talent Scholarships - 2017 for polytechnic diploma students. Candidates those pursuing Diploma Courses in Polytechnics for the year 2017-18 are eligible to apply.
Candidates should have secured a seat in Govt. recognized Polytechnic Colleges. Candidates from low income groups, girls, physically handicapped and wards of armed forces personnel will be preferred.

600 MBBS Seats Cancelled by MCI in Andhra Pradesh - 2017
Medical Council of India (MCI) has cancelled 600 MBBS seats in Andhra Pradesh. The MCI decision will be a shocker for the MBBS aspirants as they will loss the seats in convener and other categories. The MCI has cancelled MBBS seats as several colleges have not met the standards as prescribed by the council. The loopholes in infrastructure and faculty have prompted the MCI to take stern action on these colleges. Following are the details of colleges and cancelled MBBS seats:
RVS Medical College, Chittoor district: 150 seats
Apollo Medical College, Chittoor district: 150 seats
Gayathri Medical College, Vizag: 150 seats
NIMRA Medical College, Vijayawada: 150 seats
These seats have not been renewed by the Medical Council of India. The college are likely to appeal to reconsider the decision of MCI. Total cancelled seats are 600 in MBBS course.
RVS Medical College, Chittoor district: 150 seats
Apollo Medical College, Chittoor district: 150 seats
Gayathri Medical College, Vizag: 150 seats
