Osmania University College for Women, Koti has announced admission notification 2011 for various spoken English courses. The autonomous college under the purview of Osmania University is conducting these special courses for women candidates and all the designed exclusively for them only. Eligibility Requirements: Applicants should have passed in SSC or equivalent examination. The timings of the course will be Monday to Friday in two batches. One batch will be between 11 AM - 1 PM and another batch is between 2 PM - 4 PM. Duration of the course / training is two months and approximately 60 hours.

Andhra Education News- March 2011
1. Andhra University has clarified that the University is not offering B.Tech.+ M.Tech. 5-Year integrated Dual Degree course in Chemical Engineering for the Academic year 2011 – 2012. The AU has mentioned the course in the recently released AUCET 2011 notification and printed in the Brochure by mistake. Prof. O. Aniel Kumar, Director of Directorate of Admissions, Andhra University has released a corrigendum to this effect.
2. The minister for secondary education, K. Parthasarathy has reiterated that the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) 2011 will be conducted as per the earlier schedule. The minister made it clear that the English examination to be conducted on 10th March 2011 will not be postponed under any circumstances. There have been demands for the postponement of Intermediate Exams on the grounds of proposed 'Million March to Hyderabad' call given by political JAC and OU student associations.

Nagarjuna University Distance Education Admissions 2011-2012
Centre for Distance Education, Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU), Guntur issued admission notification for various Graduate, Post Graduate, Professional, Diploma, PG Diploma and Certificate Courses for the academic year 2011-12. The ANU also announced notification for Eligibility Test for Direct admission to Degree Courses without any formal educational qualifications. 1. Degree Entrance: Applicants do not require any formal education and they should have completed 18 years of age as on January 2011. Courses offered are BA, B.COm, B.Sc., BHM, BBM. Entrance Test will be conducted in ANU study centers mentioned on the website www.anucde.com . Cost of applications is Rs. 150 (Rs. 200 through Post / internet). Last date for receipt of filled in forms is 28th March 2011. Entrance date is 24th April 2011.

MBA (2 Years) / MCA Entrance Test: For MCA, candidates should have any Bachelors Degree except BFA / BOL with maths as a suject at Degree / Intermediate level along with ICET rank OR should pass in Entrance Test of CDE, ANU. For MBA, Candidates should have passed in any Degree except BFA/ BOL with maths as one of the subject at Degree / Intermediate / 10th class level with minimum 2 years experience and a Rank in ICET / pass in entrance test of CDE, ANU.
Cost of application is Rs. 500 by hand and Rs. 550 by post / internet. Last date for submission of application forms is 28th March 2011. Date of Entrance is 24th April 2011.
