ANUCET 2011 Notification, Results | Nagarjuna University, Krishna University PG Admissions 2011-12

Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU), Nagarjuna Nagar, Guntur has released notification for Common Entrance Test (ANUCET 2011) for admission to various Post Graduate Courses in the Nagarjuna University, Krishna University and affiliated colleges of ANU and KU (Machilipatnam). Admission to PG Courses for the academic year 2011-12 in both the universities will be through ANUCET 2011 only. Those passes in the qualifying degree or appearing in the final year examinations can apply for ANUCET 2011. Interested candidates can obtain application forms with Brochure from the Director, Directorate of Admissions, ANU on payment of Rs. 300 as fee. You can get application forms by post through sending a DD drawn on any nationalised bank for Rs. 350 in favour of 'The Director, Directorate of Admissions', Acharya Nagarjuna University, Nagarjuna Nagar- 522510 and payable at SBI, NU Campus branch or Andhra Bank, ANU Campus.

AP Gurukula Residential Schools Admissions 2011 for 5th Class

Andhra Pradesh Residential Schools (Gurukul Schools) Admission Schedule for the academic year 2011-12 has been announced. Admission to 5th Class (Class V / Fifth Class) in AP Gurukul Schools for General Candidates, BC and Minority candidates will be done through Lottery System following the guidelines of Right to Education Act. Lottery system is being implemented for selection of the candidates from 2010-11. Offices of the District Collectors shall carry out the Lottery process. The AP Gurukula Residential Education Society has banned the entrance system for admission to 5th class as per the instructions of the Right to Education Act. These schools follow English Medium with state syllabus. Following are other details:

1. Notification for admissions to 5th Class in AP Residential Schools will be issued on 11th March 2011.
2. Applications will be issued between 14 - 28 March 2011 at all the AP Residential Schools in the state.
3. Filled in forms have to be submitted at concerned district convener address on or before 29th March 2011. You need not attach any certificates along with application.
4. Lottery will be drawn on 15th April 2011 and counseling dates will be announced.
5. First round of counseling will be held on 23rd April and the first list of selected candidates will be announced bu concerned authorities.
6. Seats remain vacant after first counseling will be filled through second counseling with waiting list candidates on 25th June 2011.

For admission to vacant seats in 6th and 7th Classes, applications will be issued from 3rd May to 14th May 2011. Lottery will be drawn for 6th and 7th classes on 1st June 2011.

PECET 2011 Notification, Results and Counseling Schedule- Acharya Nagarujuna University

Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU), Guntur, Andhra Pradesh has announced dates for Physical Education Common Entrance Test (PECET 2011). The ANU has been assigned the responsibilities of conducting Physical Education Common Entrance Test 2011 for the second consequent year. PECET 2011 is for admissions to Physical Education Courses in Govt., aided and unaided private colleges of Andhra Pradesh. Qualified candidates will get admission to B.P.Ed. and U.G.D.P.Ed. courses through counseling. The Kakatiya University has increased 50 seats last year. Following are details of courses, application procedure and important dates for applications.

Details of Courses:

1. B.P.Ed.: Qualification: Candidates should have qualified in any degree. Final year students also eligible to apply. Age should be below 19 years as on 01-07-2011.
2. U.G.D.P.Ed.: Candidates with Intermediate qualification are eligible for this course. Those candidates appearing for final year Inter exams this year may also apply. You should have completed 16 years as on 01-07-2011.

Applications will be sold at University and Affiliated Colleges of Physical Education across the state. Application cost is Rs. 350 drawn in favour of 'Secretary, AP State Council of Higher Education' payable at Hyderabad.
