10th Class New Grading System from 2011

Grading system for Tenth Class / SSC in Andhra Pradesh has been changed from the academic year 2011-12. Those appeared for 10th Class Examinations in March / April 2011 will be awarded Gradings in the new pattern. Following are the Grades and Marks as per the new pattern:

1. 91 - 100 Marks : A1 Grade
2. 81-90 Marks : A2 Grade
3. 71-80 Marks : B1 Grade
4. 61-70 Marks : B2 Grade
5. 51-60 Marks : C1 Grade
6. 41-50 Marks : C2 Grade
7. 33-40 Marks : D Grade
8. 21-32 Marks : E1 Grade
9. Less than 20 Marks : E2 Grade

School Education department has introduced Grading system from last year. Grades have been awarded to various students based on the number of students in certain marks range. This has received criticism from experts and forced the Education Department to change the Grading system from this year.

CUCET 2011-12 For MA, M.Sc. M.Phil in 7 Central Universities

Much awaited CUCET 2011 Notification has been released. Admission to 7 Central Universities will be through CUCET marks and interviews. The Central Universities offering admission for the academic year 2011-12 through CUCET 2011 are Central University of Bihar, Central University of Jharkhand, Central University of Karnataka, Central University of Kashmir, Central University of Kerala, Central University of Rajasthan, and Central University of Tamilnadu. Nagarjuna University Integrated MBA, M.Sc. Nanotechnology Admissions 2011-12

Acharya Nagarjuna University, Nagarjuna Nagar, Guntur (AP) is a state university in Andhra Pradesh. Known as ANU, the university announced notification for admission into Integrated Courses in Management and Sciences. The duration of these innovative courses is 5 years. The courses are available in Nagarjuna University Campus only. ANU is offering 5 year Integrated Courses in the following subjects:

1. Integrated MBA (International Business); Eligibility: Applicants should have in Intermediate / +2 with any discipline / group / subjects. AN University shall conduct separate Entrance Test for admission to this integrated course.

2. Integrated M.Sc. Nanotechnology; Eligibility requirement: Candidates must have passed in Intermediate or +2 with M.P.C. group. They should also have qualified in EAMCET-2011. Selection of candidates will be based on EAMCET-2011 Rank. If the suitable candidates are not available for admission, Nagarjuna University shall admit students based on Intermediate marks itself.
