Degree (BA, B.Com, and B.Sc.) Admissions for the academic year 2011-12 have been started in the colleges affiliated to Osmania University (OU), Hyderabad. Osmania University also released notification for admission to its prestigious course B.Com (Honours). Following are details of B.Com. 1. B.Com Honours Admissions 2011: The course is being conducted by Department of Commerce, Osmania University. Entrance Examination will be conducted on 5th June 2011. 2. Degree Admissions in OU affiliated colleges: Admission process for Degree courses in OU region degree colleges for 2011-12 will start from 12th May 2011. Academic Cell, OU shall supervise the admissions.

4. Nizam College (Autonomous) has also announced admission notification for various degree courses for 2011-12. Sale of applications will start from 5th May 2011. Details available on www.nizamcollege.ac.in.

Distribution of ICET 2011 Hall Tickets has been started from 3rd May 2011. Those applied for ICET 2011 can download their hall tickets from the official websites at www.andhrauniversity.info OR www.icet2011.net . Candidates have to download hall tickets on or before 7th May 2011. About 50000 are being distributed for the candidates everyday, informed ICET 2011 convener, Prof. GSN Raju. Following is the information related to ICET 2011 Results, Key, Web Counseling and Solved Question Papers.

ICET is an entrance exam for admission to MBA and MCA courses in Govt., Aided and Unaided private colleges in Andhra Pradesh. ICET 2011 will be conducted on 18th May 2011. ICET 2011 scores will also be considered for admission into distance education courses in Management and Computer Applications is various universities in the state.

ICET 2011 Results will be released during the last week of May 2011 or in the first week of June. Web Counseling will be conducted for admissions. Candidates have to follow the guidelines to be displayed on the ICET 2011 website at www.icet2011.net to exercise web options through net. 10th Class New Grading System from 2011

Grading system for Tenth Class / SSC in Andhra Pradesh has been changed from the academic year 2011-12. Those appeared for 10th Class Examinations in March / April 2011 will be awarded Gradings in the new pattern. Following are the Grades and Marks as per the new pattern:

1. 91 - 100 Marks : A1 Grade
2. 81-90 Marks : A2 Grade
3. 71-80 Marks : B1 Grade
4. 61-70 Marks : B2 Grade
5. 51-60 Marks : C1 Grade
6. 41-50 Marks : C2 Grade
7. 33-40 Marks : D Grade
8. 21-32 Marks : E1 Grade
9. Less than 20 Marks : E2 Grade

School Education department has introduced Grading system from last year. Grades have been awarded to various students based on the number of students in certain marks range. This has received criticism from experts and forced the Education Department to change the Grading system from this year.
