Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University (JNAFAU), Hyderabad , Andhra Pradesh has announced notification for admission into Fine Arts and Design Courses for the academic year 2011-2012. The JNAFAU will conduct Fina Arts and Design Entrance Examination (FADEE) 2011. JNAFAU is a state level university for dedicated training and education in in Architecture and Fine Arts programs. JNAFAU was a part of Jawaharlala Nehru Technological University (JNTU) before it was carved out as a separate university. The University is offering following courses at the Bachelors level:
1. BFA - Bachelor of Fine Arts (Photography, Painting, Sculpture, Applied Arts, Animation)
2. B.Des. - Bachelor of Design (Interior Design, Fashion Technology and Product Design)
JNAFAU Fine Arts and Design Common Entrance Test 2011 will be held on 7th August 2011. Duration of all the courses is four years. Those candidates qualified in Intermediate OR Diploma in Architecture (For design course) are eligible to apply for Fine Arts and Design Entrance Examination.
Application forms can be obtained from Director of Admissions, JNAFAU, Ground Floor, Masab Tank, Hyderabad- 500028 from 13th June 2011. Application forms can also be downloaded from official website at www.jnafau.ac.in . Filled in application forms should be sent to 'The Registrar, Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture & Fine Arts University, Hyderabad'. Last date for the receipt of filled in application forms is 16th July 2011. Applications should carry a DD for Rs. 1000 drawn in favour of 'Registrar, JNAFAU'.
The JNAFAU has made changes to Entrance Examination model paper / Exam format which is available on the official website. Filled in forms will be accepted with late fee of Rs. 5000 till 5th August 2011. Following are important dates of the notification:

3. Last date with late fee of Rs. 5000: 5th August 2011

The APOSS is initiated to contain drop outs from main stream education system. These courses are offered in Open and Distance Learning method using innovative teaching and learning technologies.
