Innovation in Scientific Pursuit for Inspired Research, much popular as INSPIRE is a fellowship scheme introduced by the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India to encourage and promote research in basic sciences. These fellowships are intended for the first rank holders in Post Graduation courses in various disciplines of science and those have interest in pursuing Doctoral Program (Ph.D.) in the areas related to Science and Technology. Fellowship amount under INSPIRE Scheme is equivalent to the CSIR UGC NET / GATE qualified candidates. Following are details of eligibility and application procedure:
INSPIRE fellowships are offered by Govt. of India in the following disciplines:

Eligibility Conditions: Applicants must be first rank holders in the Post Graduate Program in Basic and Natural Sciences / Engineering Sciences / Pharmaceutical Sciences / Agricultural Sciences / Medical Sciences / Veterinary Sciences. First Rank holders in Under Graduate Engineering Sciences are also eligible and they should pursue Ph.D. Candidates must be first class holders at the University level. Selection of the candidates will be will be based on merit in the qualifying examination. Duration of the fellowship is five years.

Fellowships for UG Programs: INSPIRE Fellowships are also offered for candidates pursuing B.Sc. Natural / Basic Sciences, B.Sc. Honors, Integrated M.Sc. / MS Programs under 'Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE) Scheme. Selection to these fellowships will the based on marks secured in Intermediate / +2 level. Total number of these fellowships is 10000. Duration of the fellowship is 5 years. Last date to apply for these scholarships will be 90 days from the date of publication of the notification. EAMCET 2011 Medical Web Counseling Schedule- MBBS, BDS Seats, Colleges and Last Ranks
Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, in association with Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) will conduct web counseling for MBBS and BDS courses for the academic year 2011-2012. Detailed schedule is available at the end of this post in the image format. NTR University (http://59.163.116.210/) has already announced tentative schedule for Web Counseling to be conducted from 13th July 2011 to 18th July 2011. This will be the first web counseling for Medical courses in Andhra Pradesh. Online web counseling centers will be arranged at Osmania University (Hyderabad), SV University (Tirupati), Andhra University (Visakhapatnam) and NTR Health University (Vijayawada). Candidates can assess their chances of getting MBBS and BDS seats based on EAMCET Medical Last Ranks for 2010. Medical candidates can attend at any counseling center for certificate verification and counseling as per the ranks allotted for different dates. RGUKT M.Tech Computational Engineering and Sciences Admissions 2011-2012
Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT), Andhra Pradesh have started M.Tech. Programs for the academic year 2011-2012. OR candidates with M.Sc (Physical or Biological Sciences) with at least 70 percent (60 percent for SC/ ST candidates) or above marks and 60 percent (50 percent for SC/ ST candidates) or above in B.Sc, Intermediate and SSC (50 percent and above for SC/ST candidates) can also apply.
Candidate should also pass in 'Introductory Course in Computing' with A Grade conducted by RGUKT for six weeks in collaboration with IIIT-Hyderabad.
Selection process: Selection will be based on the performance in Entrance Examination / Interview to be conducted in collaboration with IIIT-H. GATE / NET qualified candidates will be exempted from Entrance Examination. Duration of the course is 2 years (Six Terms). Total number of seats are 200 (in three RGUKTs). All the selected students shall be offered financial assistance in the form of Teaching Assistance. They will be paid Rs.10,000/- per month. Candidates those are not interested in teaching assistantship have to pay Rs.96,000/- per annum towards tuition, food and accommodation fees.
