There are around 971 colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh offering 78,340 seats in the MBA Program. MCA Program is offered in 713 colleges with a total intake capacity of 50,148 seats. If we look at the aggregate of MBA and MCA seats, it would appear that every ICET qualified student would get into either MBA or the MCA Program. But the question is how to select a good MBA / MCA College?
The problem is not in the availability of some seat or the other. The core issues are – a large majority of the affiliated colleges of various universities do not have faculty members to delivery a minimum quality of education at higher degree level; a large number of them, barring a few, woefully lack the basic infrastructural facilities; most of them do not have well organised placement department, thus leaving the students to fend for themselves looking for a job and finally all these colleges do not have alumni network which is all important for management graduates. MCA Program faces other issues like the lab facilities for practice, cutting edge curriculum and advanced specializations.

Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University (JNAFAU), Andhra Pradesh has released Counseling Notification for admission into Architecture Course for the year 2011-12. Admission to B.Arch in University (Part TIme / Full Time) and Private colleges affiliated to JNAFAU, Hyderabad, Acharya Nagarujuna University, Guntur and Andhra University , Visakhapatnam will through counseling to be conducted by JNAFAU as per the schedule given below: Admission will be based on NATA entrance exam scores.
