Department of Law, Osmania University has announced Admission Notification 2011 for three Post Graduate Diploma Courses in Law for the academic year 2011-2012. Selection of the candidates for all the courses will be through merit in Common Entrance Test to be conducted by Osmania University on 04th September 2011 from 11 AM to 12-30 PM. 1) Cyber Laws (PGDCL): 80 seats; The Programme is offered at University College of Law, OU Campus. Course fee is Rs. 7650 - 10,650.
2) Taxation and Insurance Laws (PGDTIL): 80 seats; The Course is offered at University College of Law, OU Campus. Fee is Rs. 7650 - 10,650.
3) Intellectual Property Rights (PGDIPR): 80 seats; The Programme is offered at PG College of Law, Basheerbagh, Course fee is Rs. 7650 - 10,650. This is offered in evening mode.
Eligibility and Applications Procedure: Candidates should have Graduation in any discipline including B.A., B.Com. and B.Sc. Out of 80 seats, 20 seats are offered under sponsored category. Applications can be obtained from University College of Law, Osmania University, and PG College of Law, Basheerbagh, Hyderabad. Application fee is Rs. 250. NIMS Hyderabad B.Sc. Nursing, BPT Admissions 2011-12
Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh has announced notification for admission into B.Sc. Nursing and Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT courses for the year 2011-2012. Number of seats are 43 in BSc. Nursing and 39 in Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Essential Eligibility: Applicants should have passed in Intermediate Examination with Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry as main subjects. They are eligible to apply for both the courses. Applicants those passed in vocational course in physiotherapy with bridge course are also eligible to apply for BPT. And those candidates passed in vocational nursing with bridge course with Physical Sciences and Biological Sciences are also eligible to apply for B.Sc. Nursing.
Downloaded applications should be enclosed with related documents and DD/ NIMS Cash receipt for Rs.700/- towards fee. The merit list of the eligible candidates based on Intermediate marks will be displayed on the NIMS website. Counseling will be held for short listed candidates. The selected candidates for B.Sc.(Nursing) course will be paid stipend as prescribed by the government.
Non-AP candidates can also apply to any of the above courses. But their admission is subject to nonavailability of eligible candidates from Andhra Pradesh. There will be second counseling for the vacant seats after the first phase of admissions.
