New VCs for Krishna, Nagarjuna and Satavahana Universities

Three Universities in Andhra Pradesh, Krishna, Acharya Nagarjuna and Satavahana University got new Vice Chancellors on 19th April 2012. The Governer of Andhra Pradesh and Chancellor of State Universities, ESL Narasimhan has appointed Vice Chancellors for these universities. Prof Vunnam Venkaiah, K Viyanna Rao, and K Veera Reddy have been appointed as VCs for these Universities respectively.

Prof. V. Venkaiah is a professor of Management in B.R. Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad. He will be the Vice Chancellor of Krishna University, Machilipatnam. He served in various administrative positions in BRAOU such as Registrar and Director of GRADE.

Prof. Viyanna Rao is associated with the department of Commerce and Business Administration, University college of Arts, Commerce, Law, Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur will be VC of ANU. He is presently serving as In-Charge VC of the same university.

K. Veera Reddy is a retired Professor of Osmania University and also Head of the department of Chemistry at OU. He also served as Principal of Science College, Osmania University. He was appointed as Vice Chancellor of Satavahana University, Karimnagar. The Government is yet to finalise the names for 7 more universities.

LPCET 2012 Notification for Pandit Training Courses

The notification for LPCET 2012 has bee released by the Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh. The Convener, LPCET 2012 is inviting applications for Language Pundit Common Entrance Test (LPCET). The examination will be conducted for admission to Telugu Pundit Training (TPT), Hindi Pundit Training (HPT) and Urdu Pundit Training (UPT) institutes located in Andhra Pradesh. Candidates should apply online through lpcet.cgg.gov.in from 26-04-2012 to 10-05-2012. These are one year training programmes offered in Government CTEs / IASEs and other recognized Private Language Pundit Training Institutes for the academic year 2012-13.

Eligibility for LPCET: The candidates applying for LPCET 2012 should have passed in any one of the following examinations:

1. For Telugu Pandit (TPT): B.A (Telugu Literature) / M.A (Telugu) / B.A (Oriental Language – Telugu) / Bachelor of Oriental Language Telugu / Graduate Degree with optional subject Telugu.

2. Hindi Pandit (HPT): Candidates should have Graduate Degree with Hindi as optional / Vidwan of Hindi Prachara Sabha, Hyderabad / Bachelor of Oriental Language - Hindi / Praveena of Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, Hyderabad / Any other degree with Hindi (B.A standard ) recognised by the Government of A.P / M.A Hindi.

3. Urdu Pandit (UPT): Applicants should have B.A (Urdu Literature) / Bachelor of Oriental Language – Urdu / B.A (Oriental Language - Urdu) / Graduate Degree with optional subject Urdu / M.A (Urdu).

Applicants age must be above 19 years as on 01.07.2012. There is no upper age limit for LPCET 2012. Candidates should apply online only through http://lpcet.cgg.gov.in/ . Manula applications are not accepted. Details of online application procedure and eligibility will be uploaded to LPCET website on 19th April 2012. Andhra Pradesh SSC Results 2012 in the Third Week of May

The SSC Public Examination Results 2012 of Andhra Pradesh will be released during May 2012. The results are likely to be announced during the third week of May 2012. The Commissioner of Directorate of School Education, Siva Sankar has informed that the spot valuation of answer sheets of 10th Class is under progress. The spot valuation of Tenth answer sheets will be completed by 28th April 2012 and the remaining processes will take another 20 days. 10th Results may be available on the website like eenadu.net, sakshi.com, eenadupratibha.net, sakshieducation.com, manabadi.com, schools9.com etc.

10th Class Public Examinations were held during March - April 2012 across the state of Andhra Pradesh. It is estimated that more than 10 lakhs students appeared in the AP - SSC Public Examinations. All the students are eagerly waiting for the results. There are number of corporate colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
