Intermediate Second Year (IPE 2nd year) results have been announced on 24th April 2012. The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) has also released details of revaluation and supplementary exams schedule. Sai Subrahmanyam of Kothagudem (Krishnaveni Junior College) has secured first rank with 994 marks in Second Year Intermediate (MPC Group). Krishna district has topped the results list with 74 percentage of students passed the examination. Visakhapatnam district is in second place with 70 percentage of the students through the IPE Second year examination. Nizamabad is in the last place with 43 percentage passed.
In vocational courses, Nalgonda district is in first place with 72 percentage and Mahaboobnagar is in last position with 41 percentage of the students qualified. Intermediate Second year Supplementary Examinations will commence from 23rd May 2012. Practical examinations will be held from 5th June 2012. Candidates can apply for revaluation, re-verification and retotalling of answer sheets in the prescribed format available on BIEAP website at www.bieap.gov.in . Candidates have to apply for revaluation or reverification on or before 7th May 2012. Marks lists of qualified candidates will be sent to respective colleges by 25th May 2012.
APSET 2012 Notification, Eligibility and Online Applications
Osmania University has announced APSET 2012 notification. AP State Eligibility Test is conducted for the award of Lectureship in various disciplines. Osmania University (OU) has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting APSET 2012. The examination will be held on 27th July 2012 in a total of 24 subjects from various disciplines. The exam is revived after 13 years. Earlier, the equivalent exam is known as SLET (State Level Eligibility Test). Following are details of exam scheme, subjects allowed, syllabus and online application procedure:
Eligibility: Applicants should have qualified in PG in the concerned subject. The examination scheme and pattern will be in the similar lines of UGC - NET conducted by UGC. There will be three question papers all with objective multiple choice questions. There will be a moderation committee which decide the qualifying marks for APSET. The qualifying marks are said to be less than 5 percent.
Subjects allowed and Syllabus for APSET 2012: Sociology, Anthropology, Education, Political Science, Computer Science and Applications, Economics, Telugu, Mathematical sciences, English, Chemical Sciences, Public Administration, Linguistics, Management, Earth Sciences, History, Commerce, Philosophy, Hindi, Physical Sciences, Law, Physical Education, Psychology, Life Sciences and Urdu. Syllabus for the examination will be in the standard of Post Graduation in concerned subject.
