Gitam University, Visakhapatnam has announced admission notification 2012-13 for various distance learning courses. The Centre for Distance Learning (CDL) of Gitam University is offering MBA, MCA, M.Sc, MA, M.Com, BA, B.Com courses. Admission are also open for BA and B.Com courses for those do not have any formal education. Gitam University also has a campus at Hyderabad. The distance course of Gitam University are approved by UGC - AICTE - DEC. Following are details of programmes and application procedure:

NTR University MDS Counseling Schedule 2012
Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada has announced admission notification for counseling for Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) courses for the academic year 2012-13. The counseling will be held on 29-04-2012 and 30-04-2012 at NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada. The counseling is aimed at filling the seats in Government Dental College and Hospital, Hyderabad and convener seats in affiliated private unaided non minority Dental Colleges.
Candidates those qualified in MDS Entrance Test 2012 held on 18-03-2012 can attend for the counseling. The candidates should bring all the original certificates and a DD for Rs. 10600 for a seat in Govt. Dental College and Rs. 13600 for a seat in Private Dental College. DD should be drawn in favour of the Registrar, Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, payable at Vijayawada. Following is the counseling schedule:

Admission notification for Model Schools in Andhra Pradesh has been announced by Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA), Govt. of Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2012-13. Candidates can register online for Classes Vi, VII, VIII and XI in AP Model Schools through http://apms.cgg.gov.in/ . These school are going to be established as per the guidelines of Right to Education (RTE) Act of Govt. of India. Medium of instruction in these schools is English only.
Model Schools are established in the backward districts of the state. The Schools will start functioning from the academic year 2012-13. The classes from 6th to 8th classes and Intermediate First Year in MPC, BiPC, CEC and MEC groups will be held in English medium only. Number of students (intake) for each class in every school will be 80. There are 132 model schools in 20 districts in Andhra Pradesh with Classes VI, VII, VIII and XI for the year 2012-13.
There will free hostel facility for girl students. Interested candidates can register online through the website mentioned above.
