Ramoji Academy of Film and Television (RAFT), Ramoji Film City has announced notification for various PG Diploma and Diploma Programmes for the academic year 2012-13. RAFT is a part of reputed Ramoji Group of companies owned by Ch. Ramoji Rao of Eenadu Group. There are excellent facilities in the form of labs, infrastructure, faculty and placement assistance. The RAFT is introducing Diploma in Digital Film Making and Diploma in TV Production and Management from this year. Following are details of courses, selection and application procedure:
Post Graduate Diploma Courses (2 years):

2) Cinematography
Diploma Programmes (1 year)
1) Editing for Film and Television
2) Sound Recording and Designing
3) Television Production and Management
4) Digital Film making
5) Acting
Eligibility: Applicants should have Graduation in any discipline and those awaiting final year results are also eligible to apply. Candidates those want to join in Editing and Sound Recording courses need Intermediate / 10+2 examination and should have computer knowledge.
Interested candidates can download application forms from RAFT website at www.raft.ramojifilmcity.com . Application fee is Rs. 800 and it should be paid in the form of DD drawn in favour of Ramoji Academy of Film and Television and payable at Hyderabad. Admitted candidates will get financial support in the form of Bank loans from Indian Bank. Last date for the receipt of completed applications is 1st June 2012. There will be entrance test on 20th June 2012.
IIT Ramaiah SAT 2012 Results on 14th May
Results of IIT Aptitude Test 2012 conducted by IIT Ramaiah coaching center will be announced on 14th May 2012. It is estimated that more than 10 lakh candidates from 6 states appeared for SAT 2012 (Scholastic Aptitude Test) conducted by IIT Ramaiah Academy. Those qualified in SAT 2012 will get residential training along with Intermediate course for 2 years.
There are 125 seats for General Category students, 25 seats for rural background seats and another 25 seats for OBC candidates. There will be no reservations for SC and ST candidates. There are separate IIT JEE coaching centers for SC and ST candidates at Nagole and Gachibowli respectively.
