Gitam University GAT 2012 Counseling Schedule and Results

Prestigious deemed university in Andhra Pradesh, Gitam University has announced GAT 2012 (Gitam Admission Test 2012) Results. The online entrance exam was conducted on 15th April across the country. The Gitam University has also released admission counseling schedule for the academic year 2012-13. Gitam University is offering Engineering (B.Tech / M.Tech), Management, Sciences and various other courses. Results of GAT 2012 can be obtained from the University website at www.gitam.edu .

Gitam admission Counseling will commence from 22nd June 2012. Counseling will be held at Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Tirupati, Hyderabad, Bangalore in Online mode. Counseling for PH candidates will be held at Visakhapatnam only. Counseling for B.Tech courses will be held on 27th June 2012. For M.Tech programmes, counseling will be held on 29th, 30th June 2012 at Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad.

About 45000 candidates appeared for GAT 2012. About 20000 candidates were appeared from Andhra Pradesh only. GITAM has announced that top 10 rankers in GAT 201 will get free education. Next top 90 rankers will get 50 percent fee waiver in B.Tech programmes. Top 10 rankers of GAT 2012 are from Sri Chaitanya and Narayana Junior Colleges in Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad. AP 10th Class - SSC Results 2012 and Marks

Results of SSC / 10th Class in Andhra Pradesh are likely to be released on 23rd May 2012. The SSC Board officials have informed that the evaluation of SSC Marks Sheets has been completed by the end of April 2012. At present the Board is busy with scanning and tabulation of marks. The SSC / Tenth Class results 2012 will be available on www.eenadu.net, sakshi.com, eenadupratibha.net, saskhieducation.com, schools9.com, manabadi.com , nettlinx.com etc.

It is estimated that about 10 lakhs candidates appeared for SSC Public Examinations held during march 2012. SSC is very crucial for the career of students as it will indicate the interests and aptitude of the candidates. Most of the students and their parents prefer MPC at Intermediate level hence expect good marks in Mathematics subject at 10th Class level.

Candidates can obtain SSC results 2012 through mobile services and IVRS system. All the leading mobile service providers like Airtel, BSNL, Idea, Reliance, Vodafone, Aircel etc offer SSC results through SMS service.

MSIT in JNTU and IIIT Hyderabad 2012- Last Date Extended

International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT Hyderabad) has extended the last date for admission to MSIT Program for the year 2012-13. The MSIT (Master of Science in Information Technology) is being conducted by IIIT Hyderabad, JNTU Hyderabad and also in JNTU Kakinada from this year. The Last date for the receipt of completed applications has been extended till 19th May 2012.

MSIT is one of the best available post graduate programmes for Engineering and M.Sc Maths / Statistics candidates. There are good placements for this programme at JNTU Hyderabad and IIIT Hyderabad. Both these institutes are offering almost 100 percent placements every year.

MSIT is a two year Masters Programme. Selection will be based on Graduate Aptitude Test, Listening Comprehension Test and Preparatory Course. Candidates have to qualify in each of these stages separately. GRE candidates with good score will be exempted from GAT test. You can also appear for Walk In Entrance Test directly with a fee DD of Rs. 700.
