RGUKT Admission Notification 2012-13 - Apply Online

Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies, popular as RGUKT has announced admission notification 2012-13 for 6 year integrated B.Tech program in IIIT campuses located at Nuzvid, Basar and RK Valley (Idupulapaya). The programme is designed for SSC / 10th Qualified candidates. Following are details of eligibility and online application procedure:

Eligibility : Applicants should have passed in SSC / 10th Class in 2012. Only regular candidates are eligible to apply. Age must be above 18 years as on 31st December 2012. Relaxation of 3 years is applicable for SC and ST candidates. Students from non residential Government schools including ZP and Municipal Schools will get 4 percent of weightage as deprivation score for admission during 2012-13.

Interested candidates can apply online through RGUKT website admissions2012.rgukt.in . Application fee is Rs. 150. This should be paid in the form of DD from SBH / Andhra Bank or any other nationalised bank and should be drawn in favour of The Registrar, RGUKT and payable at Hyderabad.

Candidates can also apply through AP Online centers located across the state by paying Registration fee of Rs. 150 and service charges of Rs.15 per application at respective AP Online Center. In both modes, candidates should take a print out of the application and should send it along with copies of certificates to The Registrar, Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies, Vindya, C-4, IIIT Campus, Gachibowli, Hyderabad - 500032 (by speed post / registered post only).

2) Last date for the receipt of Online applications: 30th June 2012
3) Last date for the receipt of printed applications along with enclosures is 4th July 2012 (8 PM).

EAMCET Rank Estimation 2012 after Weightage for Inter Marks

Following are details and comparison of EAMCET 2011 and Intermediate marks. These will help the EAMCET 2012 candidates in understanding the weightage process and estimation of their final Rank in EAMCET 2012. They can also estimate their rank based on the rankings of EAMCET 2011. Intermediate Marks will have 25 percent weightage in EAMCET rankings. This is being implemented from 2008 in Andhra Pradesh. EAMCET Marks will be aggregated for 75 percent and Intermediate marks will ba calculated for 25 percent weightage.

Weightage Process: For example Raju get 140 marks in EAMCET out of 160, his weightage will be 65.625. If he get 560 marks in Intermediate out of 600, then his Intermediate weightage will be 23.23. Now, Ramu's total marks are 65.625 + 23.23 = 88.995. This is the procedure being followed to calculate weightage. Koti Womens College Degree Admissions 2012-13

Osmania University College for Women, more popular as Koti Women's College, Hyderabad has announced admission notification for the academic year 2012-13. The Koti Women's College is offering BA, B.Com and B.Sc courses in regular mode of education. The college is implementing semester system in all the courses at the Graduation level.

Girl candidates who have passed in Intermediate Examinations of Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or any other equivalent examination are eligible to apply. Issue of application forms starts from 16th May 2012 in the college office located at Koti, Hyderabad. The college was established in 1924 and granted autonomous college status by Osmania University.

Application fee is Rs. 180. Last date for the submission of completed applications along with necessary enclosures is 15th June 2012. Last date for the receipt of filled in applications with a late fee of Rs. 100 is 19th June 2012.
