LPCET 2012 Key, Results and Counseling

Language Pandits Common Entrance Test (LPCET) has been held on 1st July 2012 across the state of Andhra Pradesh. Admission to Language Pundits Courses in Telugu / Urdu Pundit Training Colleges will be through LPCET 2012 ranks only. We will publish the key / answers along with question papers very soon after the completion of the LPCET examination 2012. Following are details of results and counseling:

Telugu Pundit Training Examinations has been held from 10-30 AM to 12 Noon and Hindi Pundit Training Test has been conducted from 2 PM to 3-30 PM. Hall tickets have already been dispatched to the eligible candidates. Results of LPCET 2012 will be announced in the month of July 2012 (third / fourth week). Results will be displayed on www.lpcet.cgg.gov.in .

There will be centralised counseling for LPCET Admissions. Candidates will have undergo certification, giving options through internet if web counseling is conducted and finally seat allotment stages will be there in the admission process. More details of the counseling will be available on lpcet.cgg.gov.in.

AP Open School 10th Class Results and Inter Results 2012 - Recounting Procedure

Andhra Pradesh Open School Society (APOSS), Hyderabad will release SSC / 10th and Intermediate results (First and Second Year) on 1st July 2012. The results can be accessed from apopenschool.org from 10 AM . The Minister of School Education Sake Shailajanath will release the Open School Tenth and Intermediate results. About 1,80,000 students were appeared for 10th and Inter examinations held in April 2012. Following are details of recounting of Intermediate Course Examinations.

AP Open School offer 10th and Intermediate courses in open and distance learning mode. Candidates can apply

for recounting of Intermediate answer sheets in the prescribed format. You can download application fomr from the

official website http://apopenschool.org .

Recounting process includes Re-totalling, Marks for all answers are posted or not and Re-Counting of only those answers which are not awarded marks. Candidates should pay the fee of Rs. 200 per each answer script. They should pay the fee in the form of Intermediate Challan (Power Jyothi ) in SBI (SME Br.) Abids A/c. No. 31816701657 and should be credited in favour of Director (APOSS), Hyderabad. You should pay separate fee for Theory and Practical scripts.

SPMVV Tirupati RESET 2012 for M.Phil and Ph.D Admissions

Sri Padmavati Mahil Viswavidyalayam, Tirupati (Women's University) has announced RESET 2012-13 notification for admission to M.Phil and Ph.D programmes in the disciplines of Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities and Management. M.Phil and Ph.D programmes are offered in full time and part time mode. SPMVV RESET 2012-2-13 will be held on 1st September 2012. Following are details of subjects offered, entrance structure, model question paper and application procedure:

1. Subject offered in the School of Sciences: Applied Mathematics, Biotechnology, Home Science, Sericulture, Computer Science, Applied Microbiology (Ph.D. Only) and Pharmaceutical Sciences (only Ph.D).

2. School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Management: English, Law (Ph.D only), Women's Studies, Telugu Studies, Business Management, Communication and Journalism, Education and Social Work.

Eligibility and Exam Structure: Applicants should have Post Graduation in the concerned subject with minimum 55 percent marks (50 percent for SC and ST candidates). RESET 2012 will be conducted for 100 marks. The question paper will be in English only except Telugu Studies. Candidates have to write five essay type questions out of eight within 3 hours. For Computer Science and Business Management, the test will consist of objective multiple choice questions with 90 minutes duration. Candidates qualified in UGC / CSIR examinations will be exempted from RESET 2012 entrance examination.

Interested candidates can download application forms from the university website at www.spmvv.ac.in . You can also obtain application forms in person or by post from the Dean of Examinations, Sri Padmavati Mahila Viswavidyalayam, Tirupati. Filled in application forms along with a DD for Rs. 1000 (Rs. 750 for SC and ST candidates) drawn in favour of Registrar, SPMVV, Tirupati should reach Dean, Academic Affairs, SPMVV, Tirupati - 517502. Last date for the receipt of completed applications is 30th July 2012.
