EAMCET Engineering Counseling 2012 from 6th August

Eamcet 2012 counseling schedule has been announced on 19th July 2012. The detailed notification for certificate verification, entry of web options, seat allotments and certificates to be produced will be released on 20th July 2012. The Engineering Counseling for EAMCET 2012 qualified candidates will start from 6th August 2012. The EAMCET 2012 convener has announced on 19th July that the EAMCET 2012 counseling will commence from 6th of August. Counseling for Medical stream is already under progress. Lakhs of students and parents are waiting for Engineering Counseling schedule.

Certificate Verification and Entry of Web Options: Candidates have to first attend for the certificate verification as per the schedule to be released and displayed on the EAMCET 2012 website at www.apeamcet.org or http://apeamcet.nic.in . Candidates have to enter choices of college and branch. Seats will be alloted as per the dates to be announced. Candidates have to report at the allotted college as on the date mentioned on the allotment order.

SD Eye Hospital Optometry and Ophthalmic Assistant Admissions 2012-13

Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital, Government of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad is inviting applications for admission to Diploma in Optometry and Ophthalmic Assistant Courses for the academic year 2012-13. Eligible Indian and foreign candidates can apply for these courses in the prescribed format available with the hospital. Following are details of eligibility and application procedure:

Duration of each course is two years. For Ophthalmic Assistant Course, Zone VI candidates from the districts of Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Medak, Mahaboobnagar, Nalgonda and Nizamabad only eligible to apply. Applicants must have passed in Intermediate with Biology / Maths and Physics. Age should be between 17-25 years for Diploma in Optometry course and between 17-20 years for Ophthalmic Assistant Course.

Interested candidates can obtain application forms in person or by post through sending a DD for Rs. 100 drawn in favour of the Superintendent, Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital, Hyderabad and a self addresses envelope stamped with Rs.5 to Superintendent, Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital, Hyderabad. Last date for the submission of filled in applications is 4th August 2012.

GLAT for Gitam Law Admissions 2012-13

Gitam School of Law (GSL), Visakhapatnam, an arm of GITAM University has announced notification for the admission into Law courses for the academic year 2012 - 13. Duration of course is 5 years Courses available are Integrated B.B.A., LL.B, Integrated B.A., LL.B (5 years each) and 3 years LL.B.

Eligibility Criteria: For 5 year integrated programs, applicants should have minimum 50 percent marks in Intermediate or equivalent. Age should be below 20 years as on 1st July, 2012. For three year LL.B programs, candidates with minimum 50 percent marks in degree are eligible. Age should be below 22 years as on 1st July, 2012.

Applicants should have qualified in CLAT - 2012 and LSAT - India. Candidates without any rank in CLAT or LSAT may appear for GITAM Law Admission Test (GLAT - 2012) to be conducted in the following centres, Visakhapatnam, Bengalutu, Kolkatta, Tirupati, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar, Ranchi, Vijayawada.

Prescribed application forms are available on website www.gitam.edu. A fee of Rs. 700/- should be paid in the form of DD drawn in favour of GITAM School of Law payable at Visakhapatnam. Filled in application forms along with relevent copies of certificates and DD should be sent to the Director, School of Law, GITAM University, Visakhapatnam - 530045. Last date for submission of application is on 6th August, 2012.
