University of Hyderabad Admissions from 30th July

The admission process at the prestigious University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad will commence from 30th July 2012. The University authorities have informed that the admission process / counseling for MA, M.Sc, M.Phil, Ph.D, M.Tech and SN School of Performing Arts will start from 30th of July 2012. The admission to M.Sc Physics, .Sc Optometry and Vision Sciences and M.Sc Ocean and Atmospheric Science courses also will be done along with all other programmes.

The admission process will be continued till 6th August 2012. Candidates will have attend for the admissions along with all relevant original certificates, fee and other documents. They can join in the hostel as well at the same time. The waiting list admissions will be held on 4th and 6th of August 2012. The class work for all the courses will commence from 9th August 2012.

The University of Hyderabad is following semester system for all the programmes. The last date for the Semester Registration is 30th July 2012. All the PG, Integrated PG, M.Phil and Ph.D candidates studying 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 semesters have to register with the required fee by 30th July 2012. More details can be obtained from www.uohyd.ac.in .

EAMCET Medical Second Phase Counseling for Special Categories 2012

Updated on 17th August: Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh) has announced Medical Second Phase Counseling notification for EAMCET 2012 qualified candidates. The counseling will be held for admission to MBBS and BDS course for the candidates from all the categories including NCC, Army (Ex-Servicemen), Sports and Games and Physically Handicapped (PH) Categories. Following is the schedule for certificate verification and counseling:

1) On 24-08-2012: Rank 1 to 2000 (All Categories)
2) On 25-08-2012: Rank 2001 to 4500 (All Categories)
3) On 26-08-2012: Rank 4501 to 10000 (All Categories)
4) On 27-08-2012: See schedule below:
BC / ST / SC candidates: Ransk 10001 to 13000;
BC /SC / ST candidates for AU and SVU region from 13001 to 15000 ranks;
SC /ST candidates of AU and SVU regions from 15001 to last rank of eligible candidates.

NCC, Ex-Servicemen, Sports and PH categories candidates candidates can attend for certificate verification on 23rd August 2012 only at NTR Health University, Vijayawada. Seats will be allotted to these candidates as per the reservations applicable to various categories.

PH candidates with 40-70 percent disability only eligible to participate in the Medical Counseling. NCC reservations has been increased from 0.25 percent to 1 percent as per the GO 141 of Govt. of Andhra Pradesh and the seats will be filled as per the latest guidelines in force. Counseling for Sports category candidates will be held only after the receipt of priority order from SAAP Board (Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh).

MBBS and BDS First Phase Counseling Completed 2012

First Phase of Medical Counseling for admission into MBBS and BDS courses for the academic year 2012-13 has been completed on Friday, 27th July 2012. EAMCET 2012 qualified candidates have availed 3668 seats in MBBS and 862 seats in BDS courses available in various Government and Private Medical and Dental Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh. There is no official mention of Second / Final Phase counseling for MBBS and BDS courses.

Dr. T. Venungopala Rao, Registrar of Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada which has conducted Medical Counseling has informed that the week long first phase counseling has been completed on 27th July 2012. Candidates of BC-E and ST categories from Ranks 10001 to 20000 have been called for Counseling on Friday.

Among these 14 candidates have attend at JNTU Hyderabad for counseling. 60 students at AU, 41 students at SVU and 116 students at NTRUHS have been participated in the counseling. In total, 231 candidates participated in the counseling on the last day. In ST category all the seats were filled at the Rank 18669. With this the first phase counseling has been completed. The NTRUHS may conduct second phase counseling if any vacancies arise due to any reasons.
