Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad is inviting applications for admission into Post - Doctoral Certificate Courses in the following disciplines. There are 5 seats in total at NIMS, Hyderabad.
1. PDCC in Critical Care : 2 seats. Qualification : Applicants should have PG in MD / MS / DNB in Clinical Specialty (General Medicine / Chest / Pulmonary Medicine, General Surgery, Anesthesiology, Orthopedics). Duration of the course is two years. This course is recognized by MCI.
2. PDCC in Neuro - Anesthesia : 2 seats. Qualification : Applicants must have PG in MD / DNB in Anesthesiology. Duration of the course is one year. This course is recognized by Medical Council of India
3. PDCC in Micro- Vascular Surgery : 1 seat. Qualification : Applicants should have M.Ch / DNB in Plastic Surgery. Duration of the course is one year.

KU Distance Education Degree Eligibility Test 2012-13
School of Distance Learning and Continuing Education (SDLCE), Kakatiya University, Vidyaranyapuri, Warangal (Andhra Pradesh) has issued admission notification for BA, B.Com, BBM and B.Sc. programmes for the academic year 2012-13. The KU will conduct Entrance Test 2012 on 14th October 2012 for admission to these courses. Following are details of eligibility and application procedure:
Eligibility: Candidates without any format qualification and education are eligible to apply for entrance examination. Applicants who have qualified in Intermediate or any of its equivalent examination need not appear for entrance examination. Candidates should have 18 years of age as on 30th June 2012.

EAMCET 2012 Counseling Dates on 8th August 2012 For Engineering Admissions
At last, the EAMCET 2012 Engineering Counseling dates will come out in two day. The cabinet sub committee which is discussing into the issues of fee and engineering admissions for the academic year 2012-13 has informed that the EAMCET 2012 Engineering counseling dates will be finalized and released on 8th August 2012. In all probability, the certificate verification process will commence after 15th August 2012. There have been some important decisions on fee reimbursement scheme and fee hike in engineering colleges.
The cabinet sub committee has met in the Secretariat on 6th August 2012. The decisions of the meeting were informed by the Minster Pithani Satyanarayana. The most important decision is to fill the management seats also through online counseling. There have been some decisions on fee reimbursement scheme.
It is proposed that the candidates who are availing fee reimbursement scheme should qualify in the previous examinations with minimum 55 percent marks. It is also proposed that the difference of fee will be paid to the colleges through education loans, in the case of fee hikes in some colleges. The meeting has been decided to form three task force committees on engineering colleges and fix the fee based on the standards set by those committees.
