JNTU Kakinada and Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden are jointly offering Double Degree Post Graduate Programme in Telecommunication Systems for the year 2012-13. Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden is an institute of Government of Sweden. Candidates who completes this course will get M. Tech. degree from JNTUK Kakinada and M. Sc. from Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden.
Qualifications: Applicants should have qualified in BE / B.Tech / AMIE in ECE, AMIE (Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering) / AMIETE (Electronics and Telematics Engineering), CSE, CSIT, IT or Equivalent. They should have undergone telecommunications systems course in the qualifying examination and must have studied in English medium from 10th class.
Interested candidates can download application forms from the website www.jntuk.edu.in. Filled in forms along with 2 sets of all the required enclosures should reach the Director, Admissions, JNTU Kakinada, Kakinada- 533 003. Last date is 3rd September 2012.

D.Pharmacy Admissions 2012-13 in AP
Department of Technical Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh (DTEAP) has announced notification for admission to D.Pharmacy course for the academic year 2012-13. Online applications are invited from eligible and interested candidates from 18th August 2012. D.Pharmacy is a two year programme in Diploma in Pharmacy.
Duration of the course is two years. Applicants should have passed in Intermediate (BiPC or MPC) or any of its equivalent. Admission to the colleges functioning under the purview of Department of Technical Education, AP will be through this notification only.
Online application process will start from 18-08-2012 and the same will be closed on 28th August 2012. For more details of the admission counseling for D.Pharmacy, see dteap.nic.in . Candidates are requested to check the approval status of the colleges before taking admission. All the Pharmacy colleges must have approvals from Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).

DIETCET 2012 Web Counseling Schedule on 25th August
DIETCET 2012 web counseling details will be uploaded to the official website on 25th August 2012. DIETCET 2012 results have already been released and the qualified candidates are eagerly waiting for the counseling dates. The authorities have decided to conduct web counseling for D.Ed / TTC admissions from this academic year (2012-13).
Following are the details of number of candidates qualified in DIETCET 2012 in various subjects:
1) Telugu Medium: 1,59,956 candidates were qualified out of 2,74,760 candidates. The pass percentage is 58.2.
2) Urdu Medium: 836 candidates were declared qualified out of 4462 candidates.
Candidates can obtain rank cards and merit list from the website http://dietcet.cgg.gov.in/ . You can also download the same from the website. Detailed schedule of web counseling will be posted on the site by 25th August 2012. The rank wise and category wise schedule for certificate verification and exercise of web options will be provided along with the notification.
Seats will be allotted online based on the options given by the candidates. Candidates have to report at the allotted college as on the date mentioned in the allotment letter along with other requirements.
