August 22, Hyderabad: Potti Sriramulu Telugu University (PSTU), Nampally, Hyderabad is inviting applications for admission to Anchoring and Film Direction courses for the year 2012-13. Both of these courses are job oriented short term programmes with practical approach in the curriculum. See details of programmes, eligibility and application procedure below:
1) Anchoring Course: This is a three month evening certificate course. Classes will be conducted in the evenings for the convenience of working people. Applicants should have passed in 10th Class. Last date for the receipt of filled in applications at Department of Theatre Arts is 31st August 2012.
2) Film Direction Course: Duration of the course is one year. This is also an evening programme. Minimum qualification is Graduation / Degree in any discipline. Applications have to be submitted at the Department of Theatre Arts, Potti Sriramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad. Last date is 25th August 2012. PECET 2012 Web Counseling Schedule by ANU
Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), Hyderabad has announced notification for PECET 2012 Counseling for the qualified and eligible candidates. There will be web based counseling for PECET 2012 qualified candidates for admission to B.P.Ed and UG.D.P.Ed courses for the academic year 2012-13.
The web counseling will be held on 4th and 5th September 2012. Details of schedule of verification of certificates, web based counseling, helpline centers, list of certificates to be produced and rank and category wise counseling is available on www.anu.ac.in OR pecet.apsche.ac.in .
The PECET 2012 has been conducted by Acharya Nagarjuna University on behalf of APSCHE. The entrance exam is aimed at providing admissions to UG Diploma and Bachelors Courses in Physical Education. Candidates those completed these programmes will be eligible for Physical Training teachers posts in schools and colleges.

Eenadu - FIITJEE Talent Support Exam Registrations 2012
Candidates aspiring to appear for IIT JEE 2013 can assess their preparation status and preparedness through Eenadu - FIITJEE Talent Support Exam (FTSE). The examination is aimed at judging the present level of preparation for IIT JEE 2013. It will let you know the probable rank in IIT JEE 2013 Main Exam. The FTSE rank will also have a strong correlation with your estimated rank in IIT JEE 2013 Advance Exam. The FIITJEE Talent Support Exam will be held on 23rd September 2012.
Eligibility: Candidates who are studying XII / Intermediate Second year or those already passed in Intermediate / 10+2 can appear for FTSE. Candidates can asses their areas of strengths and weaknesses through this test. There will be cash scholarships, tuition fee waivers and hostel fee waivers for the top rankers in FTSE exam 2012. The exam is organized by FIITJEE Hyderabad Center with the support of Eenadu daily.
Students will also get an opportunity to join in the Intensive Contact Program for IIT JEE 2013 offered by FIITJEE, Hyderabad Center. Interested candidates can register online or offline. Application forms are available with FIITJEE centers in AP. Online registrations are accepted through www.fiitjeeonline.in .
Exam fee is Rs.200 . There will be no fee for the candidates already registered with FIITJEE program for IIT JEE 2013. Last date for the submission of filled in applications (Paper application) is 18th September 2012. More details of the exam are available at ftse.fiitjee.com .
