The Andhra Pradesh High Court stayed the online admission procedure for category B seats in private Engineering colleges the state. This will be great relief for the private engineering colleges which are trying to take the complete control management quota seats. The Andhra Pradesh High Court has stalled GOs 66 and 67 meant for online admissions for management quota seats.
The Government has decided to file a Special Leave Petition (SLP) in the Supreme Court challenging the High Court order. The High Court has order will allow the engineering college managements to fill the seats in the old manner. The GOs 66 and 67 have made it mandatory for engineering colleges to fill the Category B seats online.
The Government has stopped receiving the online applications following the HC order. The process may be reopened based on the Supreme Court order. The HC issued an interim order and the final decision may depend upon the arguments and steps taken by the Government.
EAMCET Engineering Second Phase Counseling 2012
September 11: Second Phase web counseling for EAMCET 2012 Engineering admissions is likely to be held in the last week of September 2012. The seat allotments for first phase counseling will be done on 14th September 2012. Candidates who were allotted a seat in the first counseling have to report to the colleges by 20th September 2012. Candidates who do not want to join in the allotted colleges can keep away from reporting to the college and participate in the second counseling.
All the candidates who did not attend for certificate verification and not participated in the first phase counseling are also eligible to participate in the second phase counseling. The process for changing web options will be completed by 12th September and the seats will be allotted on 14th September 2012.
The Second phase counseling notification for EAMCET 2012 Engineering admissions may be announced on 28th September 2012. Out of the total 1,34,674 candidates attended for certificate verification, 1947 candidates did not exercise web options.
The EAMCET authorities will release second phase counseling notification after taking Category B seats allotments into consideration. About 405 engineering colleges have responded to the APSCHE notification for registration through web portal. The online application process for Category B seats will be started from 12th September 2012.

BRAOU B.Ed and M.Ed Counseling Schedule 2012-13
Dr. BR Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) has announced admission counseling notification for M.Ed and B.Ed programmes for the academic year 2012-13. The M.Ed counseling is schedules on 21st September 2012 and the B.Ed counseling will be held on 24th and 25th September 2012. See the schedule below:

Candidates have to bring original hall ticket, rank card, TC, Migration and Service Certificate, Study certificates from 9th to Degree, Proof of birth, Degree certificate and other relevant certificates. Fee for B.Ed is Rs.18000 and fee to be paid for M.Ed is Rs.35000. Fee should be paid in the form of DD drawn in favour of The Registrar, Dr. BR Ambedkar Open University.
