Andhra Pradesh based Deemed institute, Gitam University has launched it's campus in Bengaluru. The Bengaluru Campus, named as Gitam School of Technology has issued admission notification for B.Tech pogramme for the academic year 2012-13. The Gitam University is accredited by NAAC with A Grade and also recognised as Research University.
Duration of the B.Tech programme is 4 years. Specializations offered are Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Information Technology.
Eligibility: Applicants should have passed in 10+2 / 12th examination of any recognised board in 2012 or 2011. They should have secured at least 60 percent aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. EAMCET Second Phase Verification and Seat Allotments 2012
The APSCHE has initiated second phase EAMCET 2012 counseling for admission to Engineering and Pharmacy courses for the academic year 2012-13. The second and final phase counseling will commence from 27th September 2012 and will be continued till 30th September 2012.
Candidates who have not joined in any engineering or pharmacy course through first phase counseling but qualified in EAMCET 2012 can appear for second phase counseling. Candidates who do not want to join in the allotted college in the first phase of counseling also can participate in the second phase counseling.
Seats for those appearing in the Second phase EAMCET 2102 counseling will be allotted on 2nd October 2012. It is estimated that only 1.15 lakh candidates were joined in the allotted engineering and pharmacy colleges through first phase counseling.
About 1.5 lakh engineering seats remain vacant in various Engineering colleges. These seats are available for 2nd phase counseling. Details of certificates verification, schedule for entry of web options and other guidelines for online counseling are available on the website www.apeamcet.nic.in .
