Center for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC), Hyderabad has announced notification for admission into Diploma in Information Technology programme for the academic year 2013. Only SC and ST candidates are eligible to apply.
1. Diploma in Embedded Systems Design (DESD) : 16 seats.
2. Diploma in Advanced Computing (DAC) : 16 seats.
3. Diploma in System Software Development (DSSD) : 8 seats.
1. Duration of programme : 24 weeks.
2. Eligibility : Graduation (UG / PG) in Electronics / Electronics and Communication / Electronics and Instrumentation / Electrical / Computer Science and Engineering / Computer Engineering / Information Technology or MCA or M.Sc Computers / Electronics / Instrumentation with minimum 55 percent marks in aggregate.
3. Mode of selection : Admission test to be held on 20th January, 2013 at Hyderabad, Tirupati, Vizag, Vijayawada, Warangal.

Closing date for the registration of online application is 4th January, 2013. Last date for the receipt of hard copy of application form is 8th January, 2013.
Vignan VSAT Exam Structure and Pattern
Vignan University has announced VSAT 2013 notification for admission to Engineering, Pharmacy and other professional courses. The candidates should be aware of the online entrance exam to be conducted by Vignan University.
Vignan VSAT consists of objective multiple choice questions from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. There will also be a section on English. The question papers may differ based on the course (B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA / MBA etc.) opted by the candidate.
The duration of the test is three hours. Each question carries four marks. There will be a negative mark for wrong answers. Admission to Vignan University and some other Vignan Group Colleges will be through VSAT rankings.

Andhra EAMCET 2013, DIETCET 2013, EDCET 2013, PGECET 2013 and CEEP 2013 Dates
The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), Government of Andhra Pradesh is gearing up to announce dates for various state level academic entrance examinations to be held in 2013. The dates for the following entrance examinations for Engineering, Medical, Management (MBA), MCA, D.Ed, B.Ed, Polytechnic (CEEP) and other examinations will be announced in December 2012. Following are the examinations for which dates are expected:
1) EAMCET 2013 : For Engineering and Pharmacy Admissions
2) EDCET 2013: For B.Ed admissions
3) DIETCET 2013: For D.Ed Admissions
4) CEEP 2013: For Polytechnic Admissions
5) ICET 2013: For MBA and MCA admissions
6) LAWCET 2013: For 3 / 5 year LLB Admissions
7) PGECET 2013: For M.Tech Admissions
The dates for the national level entrance examinations such as JEE Main and NEET - UG have already been announced. The Government has to finalize the dates considering the schedule of other national level entrance examinations.

The dates will be announced on the APSCHE website www.apsche.org / www.apsche.ac.in .
