EAMCET 2013 on 10th May - Notification in February

The Govt. of AP has announced EAMCET 2013 dates. The prestigious entrance examination will be held on 10th May 2013. The dates for announcement of ranks, counseling and admissions also have been released on 8th January. The EAMCET 2013 is aimed at providing admissions to Engineering, B.Pharmacy and Pharma D courses for the year 2013-14. The official notification will be released in the first week of February 2013. Following are the important dates for EAMCET 2013.

1) Examination date: 10th May 2013
2) Issue of notification: First week of February 2013
3) Release of Ranks: 2nd June
4) First phase counseling: 17-30 June 2013
5) Second / Final Phase Counseling: 8-11 July 2013
6) Commencement of classes: 1st August
7) Last date for admissions: 14th August 2013

Management quota seats will be filled online by the college managements under the supervision of APSCHE. Direct admissions to engineering courses should be completed by 30th July 2013.

EAMCET 2012 Marks and Ranks Analysis for Engineering

Following is the Marks and Ranks analysis of EAMCET 2012 Engineering Stream. This analysis will be very much useful for the candidates those going to appear for EAMCET 2013 entrance examination. The EAMCET ranks will be calculated based on the marks obtained in the EAMCET and Intermediate Marks. The weightage calculation procedure is given in another posts. 1) 140 Marks and more: Below 50 ranks
2) 136 Marks and more: Below 100 ranks
3) 120 Marks and more: Below 500 ranks
4) 110 Marks and more: Below 1000 ranks
5) 90 Marks and more: Below 5000 ranks

EAMCET 2013 Notification and Dates by APSCHE

The APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education) is likely to announce dates of EAMCET 2013 - 14 on 7th or 8th of January 2013. The APSCHE Chairman has already indicated that the schedule of EAMCET 2013 along with other CETs such as ICET 2013, DIETCET 2013 and EDCET 2013 will be announced in this week.

EAMCET 2013 will be the last entrance examination for Engineering and Medical Candidates of Andhra Pradesh. The state is more likely to participate in the JEE Main and NEET examinations from the year 2014.

Though there is strong opposition to join in NEET from 2013, the Govt . of AP is making efforts to change the syllabus and preparing the students for the change in the future. This is indicating that the state is more likely to tilt towards NEET from 2014.

The EAMCET is an entrance examination for admission into Engineering and Medical Courses in Andhra Pradesh. The JNTU Hyderabad has been conducting the examination for the past ten years.
