10th Class Exams News and Updates 2013

All the arrangements are in place for the smooth conduct of SSC / 10th Class Public Examinations from 22nd March 2012 across the state of Andhra Pradesh. It is observed that the English medium students have been increased this year comparing to the previous year. In total, 12,04,201 candidates are going to appear for SSC examinations 2013. Here are some important statistics about 10th Class exams in AP:

1. Number of Schools offering till 10th Class in AP: 20345.
2. Number of total students appearing for the Tenth Class exams 2013: 12,04,201
3. Private Candidates: 1,44,171.
4. Regular candidates: 10,60,030
5. English Medium students: 4,62,982 (3,29,173 in 2012 exams)

About 1.34 lakhs candidates were increased in 10th Class English medium this year due to the introduction of English Medium in Government schools about 5 /6 years back. The examination will be held fom 9-30 AM to 12 PM.

Intermediate Evaluation from 20th March 2013

Intermediate Public Examinations have been completed on 19th March 2013. The IPE examinations 2013 for Junior and Senior Intermediate were finished with the Senior Intermediate Chemistry exam on 19th March 2013.

All the main examinations have been completed. All other exams will be over by 23rd March. Evaluation of the answer sheets will be started from 20th March 2013. Answer sheets of English, Mathematics, and other subjects will commence from Wednesday.

On the other side, 10th Class public examinations will start from 22nd March 2013. Arrangements have been completed for the SSC public examinations 2013 across the state. For detailed schedule of the examinations, see www.bseap.gov.in .

JNTUK Syllabus Changes in B.Tech and B.Pharmacy from 2013

JNTU Kakinada is gearing up for the changes in syllabus. The JNTUK is contemplating to introduce new syllabus in 17 programmes of B.Tech and B.Pharmacy courses from the academic year 2013-14. The Vice - Chancellor of the JNT University Prof. Tulasi Ramdas has informed that the new syllabus is one the cards for various courses.

The syllabus revision for B.Tech First and Second year courses will be carried out very soon. New courses are also being introduced after taking suggestions of various experts. In the same manner, third and fourth year courses will be revised from 2014.

The changes in syllabus have been taken up as per the requirements of the present industry and employability. The University is also going to start e-Studio from July 2013.

The JNTUK is also making efforts to improve the communication skills of the students. The University is planning to introduce new method from 1st August and planning to introduce online spoken English teaching.
