Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada is inviting applications from eligible candidates for admission into Ph.D programme for the academic year 2013. The selection process will consist of written test and interview.
External Ph.D programmes are offered in the discipline of Computer Science, Spatial Information Technology and Biotechnology.
Duration of programme : Three years.
Application fee : Rs. 1000 in the form of DD drawn in favour of The Registrar, JNT University Kakinada and payable at Kakinada.
Eligibility : PG / M.Phil in any subject of Physics / Electronics / Maths / Computer Science / Spatial Information Technology / Chemistry / Geology / Geography / Agriculture / Atmospherics Science / Space Science / Biotechnology / Chemical Engineering / Food Technology / Biochemical Engineering / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Life Science / Pharmacy / Environmental Science and Technology.
How to apply : The completed application form along with all relevant documents should be sent to The Registrar, JNT University Kakinada, Kakinada - 533 003. The prescribed application forms can be downloaded from website : www.jntuk.edu.in. Last date for the receipt of filled in application form is 16th April, 2013.
EAMCET 2013 Corrections to Online Applications
Candidates who have submitted online applications for EAMCET 2013 can do corrections if any through the website www.apeamcet.org . The online correction process will start from 29th March 2013. Candidates can check the details of name, date of birth, address etc. and do corrections if any.
Students can approach regional offices and convener's office with relevant proofs and correct the mistakes. The last date for the corrections to EAMCET 2013 online applications is 7th April 2013.
The number of applications for Medical and Agricultural courses has been increased this year comparing to the previous year. 1.03 lakhs candidates applied for these courses. This number was 95518 for the last year.
About 2.85 lakhs candidates applied for Engineering stream. 1305 candidates applied for both Engineering and Medical streams. Candidates can apply till the end of April with a whopping late fee.

MBA in Gitam School of International Business 2013-15
Gitam School of International Business (GSIB), Visakhapatnam has issued admission notification for MBA programme for the academic course year 2013-15. Duration of the course is two years.
