Hyderabad: First open university in the country, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University is proposed to start Engineering and Pharmaceutical Science Courses in the distance education mode. The University (BRAOU) has informed that the new courses will be launched with the help of existing infrastructure in the reputed colleges.
The Engineering courses will be started with the help of Government Universities. The degree will be awarded by BR Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad.
The BRAOU is also likely to start distance courses in B.Sc. Pharmaceutical Science, International Masters Degree Program and PG course in Journalism from this academic year (2013-14).

Hyderabad Central University Entrance Results 2013 for MA, M.Sc, M.Phil and Ph.D Courses
Hyderabad Central University (HCU), also known as University of Hyderabad has announced results of MA, M.Phil and Ph.D Entrance Examinations conducted in February - March 2013. The Results are available on the website www.uohyd.ac.in .
Those qualified in written examinations for M.Phil and Ph.D courses will be called for personal interviews to be held in May 2013. The detailed schedule for interviews is available on the website mentioned above.
The results for MA (Economics, Sociology, Political Science, History, Anthropology, English, Telugu, Comparative Literature), MA and M.Sc Integrated Courses (Science, Social Sciences, Humanities) and M.Sc (Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Biotechnology, Animal Biotechnology) are available on the website.

EAMCET Mock Test 2013 by SFI on 14th April
Hyderabad: Student Federation of India (SFI), student wing of Communist Party of India (CPI-M) is conducting model EAMCET 2013 on 14th April 2013 across the state of Andhra Pradesh. Candidates can register at any SFI offices.
Candidates who secure first, second and third ranks in the SFI Model EAMCET 2013 will be given gold medals. Educationist and JEE Guru Chukka Ramaiah will be the supervisor for the Model EAMCET and he will give gold medals to the winners.
Students who secure first 10 ranks at the district level also will get prizes. Mock tests are useful for the students to assess their strengths and weaknesses. Eenadu and Sri Gayathri institutes also conduct mock eamcet. The details and dates are yet to be released.
