APTW Gurukulam School Admissions 2013-14

Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society of Andhra Pradesh (www.aptwgurukulam.gov.in) is inviting applications from tribal candidates for admission into 3rd, 5th and 8th classes for the year 2013-14. The schools are located across the state. These schools are also called Pratibha Schools.

1) PTG Residential Schools: 12 schools for 3rd class admissions. Seats are 80 in each school.
2) Tribal Welfare Residential Schools: 80 seats in 66 schools. Admission in for 5th Class.
3) Pratibha Schools: 3 schools are there with 90 seats each.

Medium of teaching in all schools is English. Annual income of the parents of applicants should be below Rs.60000.

Candidates should have passed in 2nd, 4th and 7th classes for securing admission into 3rd, 5th and 8th classes respectively. Candidates should apply in the neatly written white paper including all the details such as name, date of birth, address, caste and sub caste, present school etc.

Filled in forms should be submitted to any ITDA office in the concernd district, DTWO office and residential schools. Last date is 20th May 2013. For more details, contact at any ITDA office / DTWO office / Principal of the concerned residential school.

JNTU Kakinada NRI, PIO and Foreign Nationals Admissions 2013-14

Kakinada: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK) is inviting applications from eligible foreign nationals / NRIs / PIO candidates for admission into UG, PG and Research Programmes for the academic year 2013-14. Following are details:

Courses: B.Tech, B.Pharm, M.Tech, M.Pharm, MCA, MBA , Research (Ph.D.) at JNT University, Kakinada.

Application forms can be downloaded from the website at www.jntuk.edu.in . Filled in application forms along with required certificate copies and a crossed Demand Draft for Rs.200 drawn in favour of The Registrar, JNT University, Kakinada should be sent to The Director, Admissions, JNTUK, Kakinada - 533003.

Last date for the receipt of completed applications is 24th June 2013.

Supreme Court Orders on NEET 2013 and EAMCET

The Supreme Court of India will give clarity on the NEET 2013 examination on 13th May 2013, Monday. T he Supreme Court bench comprising Chief Justice Altamas Kabir, Justice Anil R. Dave and Justice Vikramjit Sen will give interim orders on the validity of NEET 2013. The states of Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Tamilnadu along with several managements of private medical colleges and minority educational institutions have filed petitions in Supreme Court against NEET 2013.

The Supreme Court has allowed NEET 2013 and state level entrance exams in an interim order in December 2012. The Court has ordered all the state and central authorities not to announce the results till the final orders delivered by the court.

The court has denied to deliver further interim orders on the issue and likely to give final judgement. The special meet of the bench has been arranged to deliver the judgement.

There is so much confusion and tension on the part of the students and parents regarding the validity of state level entrance exams such as EAMCET 2013. The fate of these state exams will be decided by the Court in a few hours.
