Osmania University Ph.D Eligibility Test 2014-15

Osmania University has announced notification for Ph.D. Eligibility Test 2014. The admission into Ph.D courses in various Science, Arts, Management and other subjects for the academic year 2014-15 will be through Ph.D. Eligibility Test only.

Eligibility: Applicants should have qualified in Masters degree in the concerned subject with minimum 55 percent marks. SC / ST candidates need 50 percent marks.

Interested candidates can apply online through the website at www.ouadmissions.com OR www.osmania.ac.in . Online application process commences from 10th July 2014. Last date for the submission of applications is 10th August 2014.

You can apply till 20th August with a late fee of Rs. 400. Candidates who have fellowship through UGC / CSIR / ICAR / ICMR / DBT / Inspire Fellowship and teacher fellowship OR those qualified in APSET / UGC CET / JEST / UGC CSIR NET / those withe M.Phil in regular mode from OU or Ph.D. in an allied subject will be exempted from Eligibility Test. 10th Class English Creative Writing - New Syllabus and Exam Pattern

Section - C of 10th class / SSC English question paper consists of questions related to Creative Writing (Written Discourses). The section will be for 30 Marks in total. This section will contain questions to assess the ability to write discourses specified for 10t Class.

1. Questions carrying 10 marks – writing major discourses in 120 to 200 words. There will be internal choice in each question.
2. Questions carrying 5 marks – writing minor discourses in 50 to 100
words. No choice in this questions.

Following is the grouping of discourse:
