A new website has been floated for the application process and disbursal of scholarships for Telangana students. The website, called and popular as ePass provides all the services that are being provided through the previous portal. The new ePASS website for Telangana students is available at https://telanganaepass.cgg.gov.in/ .
Following are the services Telangana students can get through new ePASS website:
1) Electronic application system and payment system
2) Details of scholarships offered for various courses and categories of students.
3) Eligibility requirements for different scholarships.
4) Fee structure for various courses also has been uploaded.
The website also consists of latest GOs and Memos related to the social welfare department and other scholarships.
Students can check their application status and scholarship status through the links provided on the home page of the website. Details of corporate admissions also provided with for the benefit of the concerned students.

Nagarjuna University Distance Education Admissions 2014-15
Center for Distance Education (CDE), Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU), Guntur has issued admission notification UG and Post Graduate Courses for the academic year 2014-15. The admission into most of the courses will be through eligibility test.
UG Courses: BA, B.Com, BHM, B.Sc., BBA: Candidates should have 18 years by 1 July 2014. Candidates without any formal education are also eligible to apply.
Selection will be through eligibility test. Candidates who have passed the examination in earlier tests are also eligible.
Application forms can be downloaded from the website at www.anucde.info. Last date for the submission of applications for first entrance tests is 25th August and last date for second entrance test is 27th October 2014.

EAMCET Engineering Counseling 2014 to start in July
EAMCET 2014 Engineering Counseling is likely to be conducted at the end of July 2014. The issue of nativity in Telangana may be resolved by 16th July 2014. In all probability, the EAMCET 2014 counseling notification will be issued around 20th July 2014.
The officials are making arrangements to conduct EAMCET 2014 counseling in the last week of July 2014. The Telangana Government is proposed to set the cut off year to decide nativity as 1956 or 1974.
Around 4 lakhs candidates from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are waiting for EAMCET 2014 counseling schedule. The notification has been delayed due to nativity issue raised by Telangana Government.
The Government has nothing to do with the admission process as common admissions will be taken up as per the AP Reorganization Act 2014. The nativity will play crucial role in the implementation of fee reimbursement and scholarship schemes.
