The row over EAMCET 2014 counseling continues even after the commencement of certificate verification in Andhra Pradesh from 7th August 2014. Chairman of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGSCHE), Hyderabad Papi Reddy has informed that there will be separate counseling for Telangana students.
He clarified that the admissions will be conducted jointly by both the Councils of AP and Telangana. He maintained that the counseling will be held separately for Telangana students following guidelines of the Government.
It is not clear whether the Telangana Government conduct separate counseling for other courses as well. The Supreme court is yet to deliver its final verdict on the EAMCET counseling.
The response from the students for the ongoing certificate verification is poor. The verification will start in Telangana soon. On the first day of certificate verification in AP, only 27 percent candidates attended for the verification.
