Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada has issued admission notification for Super Specialty Courses (2nd PG) for the academic year 2014-15. The selection will be based on the entrance test conducted by the NTRUHS.
The entrance examination will be held at Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada. For detailed information regarding eligibility, mode of application and other details, see ntruhs.ap.nic.in .
Interested candidates can submit applications online through the website.
Last date for the submission of online applications is 25 August 2014.

Only 141 Engineering Colleges in First Phase EAMCET Counseling 2014
In a new twist to the EAMCET 2014 Engineering counseling, about 174 engineering colleges did not find place in the options entry which has been started from 17th August 2014 in Telangana State.
The JNTU Hyderabad has declined the approval for as many as 174 Engineering colleges in Telangana citing lack of proper infrastructure, faculty and other facilities.
With this, the students will be web options for only 141 private colleges apart from the Government University campus colleges. The colleges are thinking of approaching the High Court as the time is not sufficient for them to take on the Government.
The Telangana Government's decision to exclude several colleges from the first phase counseling is likely to cost dearly respective colleges. The managements of colleges have called for emergency meeting to take a decision on the developments.

Polycet 2014 Seal Allotments on 20th or 21st August
The seat allotments for the candidates who have exercised web options as part of POLYCET 2014 web counseling will be done on 20th or 21st August 2014. The seat allotments can be obtained from the website at polycet dot nic dot in . The POLYCET is for admission into polytechnic courses for the academic year 2014-15.
The process of exercising web options has been completed sometime back but the seats were not allotted due to various administrative reasons. More than one lakh candidates are waiting for the Polycet 2014 seat allotments in the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
With this the decks will be almost cleared for other CETs counseling as well. The counseling process for entrance exams like EDCET, ICET, ECET, LAWCET etc. has not been completed due to issues of nativity, fee reimbursement and lask of coordination between the new states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
With the intervention of Supreme Court in EAMCET counseling 2014, both the states may conduct the common admissions for all other entrance exams and courses. Most of the counselings will start in September 2014.
