Department of Technical Education of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh has announced that the POLYCET 2014 seat allotments will be announced on 24th August 2014. The candidates who have exercised or not exercised web options can change the same as per the schedule.
1) 22nd August 2014: Candidates from ranks 1 to 76000 can change the web options
2) 23rd August 2014: Candidates with ranks from 76001 to last rank can change the web options.
The web options can be changed through ploycet.nic.in . Seats allotments will be done on 24th August after 8 PM. Seats remain vacant after first phase counseling will be filled through second phase counseling.
Candidates can secure admissions into polytechnic courses through POLYCET 2014 admissions. The counseling has been delayed due to issue of nativity and fee reimbursement schemes in Telangana.
ECET 2014 Web Options and Seat Allotments on 22nd August
Convenor, ECET 2014 admissions has informed that the candidates who have exercised or not exercised web options earlier can exercise the web options through the website ecet.nic.in . The ECET 2014 admissions notification has been issued after clearing decks for the contentious issues between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Students who have qualified in ECET 2014 can now exercise web options on 20th and 21st August 2014. The seat allotments will be done on 22nd August 2014.
ECET is for admission into Engineering (B.Tech /BE) courses through lateral entry scheme. Diploma candidates can seek admissions into Engineering courses directly through ECET. They need not appear for EAMCET.
There will be certain number of seats reserved for ECET candidates in engineering admissions. Seats remain vacant will be filled through ECET 2014 second phase counseling for which details will be announced later.
