The Engineering Colleges in and around Hyderabad have announced admission notifications for Category - B seats (Management Quota) in B.Tech / BE courses for the academic year 2014-15. The colleges which announced notifications on 23rd August 2014 are Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College, Vignan Bharathi Institute of Technology and several other colleges. Here are more details:
1) Nalla Mallareddy Engineering College, Narapally, Ghatkesar Mandal, Rangareddy district. Admissions will be as per the orders of state government. Seats available are CSE - 36, ECE - 54, EEE-18, Mechanical - 36, Civil - 18. More details can be obtained from www.nmrec.edu.in . Last date for the submission of applications is 28 August 2014.
2) Vignana Bharathi Institute of Technology, Aushapur, Ghatkesar, Rangareddy district. Available seats are ECE - 54, CSE - 54, IT - 18, EEE - 36, Mechanical - 36, Civil - 36 and MBA - 36. Last date for the applications submission is 30 August 2014.
3) AVN Institute of Engineering and Technology, Koheda Road, Patelguda, Ibrahimpatnam Mandal, Rangareddy district. Available courses and seats are CSE - 36, ECE - 36, Mechanical - 54, Civil - 54 and EEE - 18. Last date for the applications is 30 August 2014.
Architecture Admissions - 2014 in AP and Telangana
Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University (JNAFAU), Hyderabad has issued Architecture Admissions - 2014 Notification for the academic year 2014-15. The admission into 1st year B.Arch Regulat course in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh will be conducted through this notification.
NATA qualified candidates can register their names at the designated helpline centers in both the states. They have to present relevant certificates along with Registration and Processing fee of Rs. 1000. For, SC / ST candidates, fee is Rs. 500 only.
Last date for appearing NATA 2014 examination is 25th August 2014. Registration and certificate verification at helpline centers will be done on 1st and 2nd September 2014. Ranks will be declared on 8th September 2014. Eligible candidates can exercise web options on 11th and 12th September 2014.
Seats will be allotted on 15th September 2014 and class work commences from the next day (16th September). No separate notification will be issued for counseling purpose. Candidates can see www.jnafau.ac.in for the details of eligibility, tuition fee, ranks and other information.

AP ePass - Free Coaching for GRE, GMAT, TOEFL and IELTS 2014-15
The Department of Social Welfare, Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued notification inviting applications through online portal apepass.cgg.gov.in for the admissions into coaching classes for GRE, GMAT, TOEFL and IELTS. The candidates should be from SC / ST community and the annual income of the parents / guardians should be less than Rs. 2 lakhs.
Interested candidates can start applying online from 20th August 2014. Last date for the registrations for the first batch is 31 August 2014. The coaching will be offered in selected institutions in Hyderabad, Warangal and Vijayawada.
Candidates can submit online applications through ePass website. The scheme is intended to provide skill upgradation for the poor students in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The list of eligible and shortlisted candidates for the programmes is also available on the ePASS website.
Along with this scheme. AP Government is also offering loans for higher education in foreign countries. The students can avail the loans for studies in US, UK, Australia and Canada. For more information, see the website.
