The Department of Technical Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana is inviting candidates for second phase / final phase Polycet 2014 counseling to be conducted from 6th September 2014. Following are details of certificate verification and exercise of web options.
The POLYCET 2014 qualified candidates and who have participated in first phase counseling and also those who have not participated can appear for second / final phase counseling.
The counseling will be held on 6th and 7th September 2014. The detailed schedule along with rank wise web options entry will be available on the website polycet.nic.in .
Polycet is for admission into polytechnic courses for the academic year 2014-15. The admissions will be conducted jointly by AP and Telangana governments. Candidates who have completed polytechnic diploma will be eligible for lateral entry admissions into engineering and pharmacy courses.
ECET 2014 Final and Second Phase Counseling Schedule
The final phase / second phase counseling notification for ECET 2014 qualified candidates has been announced by Convener, ECET. The entrance examination, ECET is for admission into Engineering admissions in lateral entry mode in engineering and pharmacy colleges in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States.
There will be a web based counseling for diploma in engineering and pharmacy candidates. The candidates who have qualified in ECET 2014 and participated and not participated in first phase counseling can attend for second phase counseling.

Certain percentage of seats in Engineering and Pharmacy courses in government and private engineering and pharmacy colleges will be reserved for ECET qualified candidates in both the state of AP and Telangana.

PGRRCDE of Osmania University, Hyderabad has issued admission notification for PG Diploma in Bioinformatics for the academic year 2014-15. The course is offered by Prof. G. Ramreddy Center for Distance Education, Osmania University.
